I received a private email from someone who apparently knows someone on the crew. He said post-production wouldn't be finished until October so he doubts it will be released this year.

I was hoping this year but i guess the more time the better.

Ok, someone over on the imdb board popped up and revealed that actor Raz Degan apparently has a small role in this film:

my friend who worked on the set told me that she saw RAZ DEGAN (who plays Darius the Great in Alexander) on set in wardrobe (military fatigue) although he played a mutant who "energizes" (she described the process with green screen gloves) ..it's just a cameo, but when i looked him up, he kinda reminds me of Gambit? I don't know, or he could be just a mutant extra but it's worth noting

The general consensus over there is that he is not playing Gambit and just a minor mutant extra. Main this is why would he be wearing military fatigues?
