The Year 2012 (Merged)

Both. Honored that is it my urine gracing the top of your head during one of history's biggest changes...then angered because Im gonna eat a lot of asparagus before I do it.
You know, I can't remember WHERE I read it, but apparently somebody was saying that urine is an effective hair treatment/conditioner.

With all that is happening with the world..the end of the world may come in 4 years after all.

Actually, I never said that. Learn to read, and learn not to put words in other people's mouths...then maybe people will actually take you seriously.
1. He put words through your keyboard not your mouth :whatever:
2. Lay off my fellow Canuck :hyper::up:

I wanted to address this separately.

I'm not infallible. I know that. However, making an error in a debate about a quote is quite a far cry from making an error in logic or an error in professing actual scientific knowledge. There's a world of difference there. That said, you're really stating the obvious here.
Regardless of your approach to get out of this, it remains as said. Making an error once means you can make an error again (regardless of what). Since you misunderstood what I had said earlier, you may misunderstand certain things in scientific knowledge and I'll add Biblical knowledge since much of our discussions in the past have been on both, not just one.

Get out of what? All you're saying is that nobody's infallible. You might as well tell me that the sky is blue.

As a matter of fact, I misunderstood nothing. It was my memory of the post that failed me. Again, two totally separate things. The fact that you're using this as some form of trump card over anything I say is actually sort of pathetic. But I digress.

I don't know whether there's a planet Niburu (Nibiru?). It's certainly not impossible, especially given the extremely elliptical orbit it's been portrayed as having.

Still, with all of the diagrams I've seen I find it rather hard to believe that

1) The orbit could be that elliptical AND that the planet would still be so under the influence of the sun's gravity at its farthest point that it would loop back around,

and

2) Its orbital cycle could really be that long (thousands of years). That's something you see with planets orbiting much, much larger stars.

That said, the video was absolutely absurd. I haven't changed my mind on that front. I seems to me as though it was some half-assed effort to connect strange predictions and occurrences that cannot actually be verified (until, of course, 12/21/12 rolls around).

All they did was throw these supposed phenomena together. Even IF:

1) UFO's are proven to in fact be extra terrestrial organisms visiting earth

and

2) Niburu (Nibiru?) actually is shown to exist conclusively...

...it does nothing to prove that these things are somehow related, and it does even less to prove that the Mayan calendar is somehow involved. Don't even get me started on the extinct son-of-angels giants that the video portrays. That's been debunked time and time again.

*Sigh*

Guess that's my thought on THAT in a nutshell.
I never asked you anything about the mayan calendar or the giants, just on the planet Nibiru, if it's real and if we're going to start to see it soon.

I am aware at the false photos of the giants (have all of them been shown to be false, though) and I'm not sure where to add UFO's and aliens into this event. I do believe in them (even from my christian viewpoint), how they fit into Nibiru, if they even do fit in, I don't know.

Crop circles, many are still a mystery today and perhaps there have been some aliens that have made them but for the reason the videos show, again, I don't know.

All I'm interested in at the moment is if the planet Nibiru is real and if we will see it in the next couple of years like the videos show. If so, then I'll examine everything else these videos teach much more because something big could happen in 2012.

Way to miss the point entirely.

I understand what you're saying, but it's false reasoning, pure and simple. Proving one part of that video doesn't make the connection between all of the phenomenon true, nor does it even lend credit or merrit to the videos.

If I told you that pancakes, unicorns, the color green and the Halo game series were all connected to the end of the world (and threw in some mightily vague Biblical references to support it to boot), then I proved to you the existence of pancakes, would you take the theory more seriously?

That's essentially what these people have done. They've taken these almost completely unrelated (and some imaginary) phenoemena and created ties between them.

You can take it seriously if you'd like, even after the planet is discovered (if, in fact, it exists). You can take it seriously until 12/21/12 comes around and the creators of the video(s) jump out and scream, "April Fool's!" even though it's December.

(Which, when you think about it, makes more sense than their, "theory.")

Actually, I can use it as a misunderstanding, that is, you misunderstood what I said based on your memory.

Does it really matter anymore?

I don't know, you sure seem to enjoy flaunting the fact that I'm imperfect.

But it is possible that some aspects of it could be true like the earthquakes, storms, etc.....

When I said I would examine the rest of the contents of the videos more closely if we start seeing Nibiru soon, it doesn't mean that everything that's in these videos will come to pass as shown in them, I doubt much of it will, but what may come to pass from Nibiru (if we see it soon), I'd like to know.

providing Nibiru exists, then I think as time goes on, more things will become clearer (including our understanding of the planet and at least some of the events it's promising in the videos).

We still have a few years, so it's still a waiting game.

There is an interesting site on Nibiru and I'll try to find it again and post the link. They explain why there can be the problems like earthquakes and other stuff.

As soon as the US starts hitting Iran, I'm packing my bags. I can speak decent Spanish. Maybe I'll move to León or something.. :p

Right on! If he doesn't shaddup, maybe we can send :wolverine after him!
Wolverine doesn't exist, dude. :csad: It's sort of sad that the only thing a Canadian can throw at me is a fictional character.

By the way: I have nothing against Canada. It's a nice place. I almost died there once, though. Good times.

Nothing against canada? are you aware bryan adams, celine dion and nickleback are from canada?

And everyone's almost died in canada at least once, it's nothing to brag about.

The U.S. gave the world George W. Bush. :csad: It'd be a bit hypocritical of me to hate Canada for those annoyances.

And yeah?? Well I almost died on a water slide in Canada, so there! :cmad:

Yeah, but those guys came here from canada. It would be different if we sent Bush to canada to run their gov. then they'd have good reason to say what the @uck?

Big deal, I was attacked by a cougar, so take your silly water slide and shove it, eh?
