BvS Theories on SW and BvS crossover pics from Snyder/Abrams!

Here's what I think:

I wish that the sniping that happens with both the actors and other creators of the CBMs we get from both MARVEL and WB/DCE and their fans was replaced with Snyder and J.J.'s good natured fun.

That would be nice. It's why I love the BvS/SW thing that they're doing.

Well, he's not done a crap metric ton of it, but there's a couple of quotes from Snyder that could be construed as a bit of smack talk. Nothing like RDJ's smack talk about the Nolan films, but it's still there. Again, it's a bit mild in comparison to some others but it's out there to be found. Granted, Snyder has also said he loves the world of the MCU and is exited to visit it when he sees it in theaters as well.

Matthew Modine was ragging on Avengers pretty hard during pre-release. Ironic considering he's practically begging to be Dr. Strange now.

I'm a DC dude because I grew up reading mostly DC and watching SuperFriends, etc. But I love most Marvel flicks and have mad respect for their vision, and willingness to gamble and how it's paid off. Actually, I give credit to Marvel that a DC Movieverse is even happening. I have faith in what WB/DC is building but I seriously doubt it'd be happening *now* without the game-changing Avengers. So yeah, two thumbs up to Marvel.

As for the OP's theory, I seriously doubt it means anything, at least as far as upcoming film projects (though I'd kill for a JJ Abrams solo WW movie, I especially dig his knack for nailing family dynamics and would love to see his take on Diana's and Hipollyta's mother/daughter relationship).

I literally didn't know this thread existed.

My theory is that Snyder is trying to woo Abrams over to the DCU. I'll welcome Abrams with open arms as long as Orci and Kurtzman and Lindy aren't allowed anywhere near the project.

Truthfully I think its just acknowledgement of the other major blockbuster which is SW. Kinda like indirect cross marketing joke between the two. However it is more fun to speculate and have wild ideas

I honestly believe Chris Terrio will be in every dcu film from now on.. like as a co-writer, because he is damn good at it.

Maybe J.J. Abrams is directing a Green Lantern reboot with John Stewart. Which I would LOVE to see!

Terrio wants to direct so I just don't know about him being involved with all of the scripts. Certainly I think Warners is going to be able to get him to pen the Justice League script.
