I like this thread and it does have a point to it. It is kind of funny to have Snyder/JJ doing the SW and BvS picture swapping. It's nice to see a thread for all the SW related pics which are fun. Who knows if there is a hidden point. I doubt it, but since when is it not fun to speculate With that said > You still can't make me be in love with the new Batmobile though BatmanVsuperman I stand by my opinion that a modern version of the Burton 89 Batmobile mixed with modern sports car flare would have been a more fun way to go.

Oh. Well, some people that were not ST fans really dig JJ's take on it. I know some hardcore ST fans that don't like his take as well. I'd say give the new movies a chance, maybe his direction will get you interested.

It appears that we are in the minority my good man. I guess I can understand the car from a character/story perspective, with the character being older and weary and all but I'm just not a fan of the Batmobile being this huge tank like thing. I like the Batmobile being a little sleek. As I said it's not a deal breaker. Thanks a lot Christopher Nolan, you ruined the batmobile for forseeable future. *pouts*

If there was ever a pointless thread...

It would have been the one about skepticism for the movie. It should go without saying that the mere fact that you post pictures of popular characters with character/references to other franchises it serves to cross promote each other and there is no need to downplay that.

No it's just both sides having fun. It's sign of respect. That's not to say that it's not possible that both directors will cross over just I think this is more of for fun then a hint at something.

my reply to this would be to show Bats sitting upside down in the drivers seat. A sly smile comes to his face as he presses a button in the console that says "magnetic disruptor" cut to underneath the car and you see a device drop and attach itself to the Falcon. Then the Tumbler detaches and drives off as a huge electrical discharge surrounds the Falcon.. cut to the interior where Chewy and R2 are again playing chess and the lights go out and you hear Chewie sigh in the dark.

WOW - what a great response from Abrams. I love this little back and forth game and each response is getting better and better. Not the biggest SW fan either, but that footage of the MF got me excited.

I wonder at what point do the studio pencil necks step in and say "tone it down guys". i hope never...
