i wouldn't mind another burning building, i thought they fit right in to both films, to bring out 2 different moments and feelings of each film. of course this time around it would be a very dark and evil moment, so don't worry Niobe the music will be different this time around...you can count on it.

It was a stupid scene in Spider-man 2 and if it was in this film it would probably be equally rediculous.

That would be an interesting scene this time, maybe it would be a lesson with Peter that the Symbiote does not like fire. And that could be a plot point that he uses later on to help destroy or defeat Venom.

This would be absoultley fine in this movie, I think the fire could really help tell a part of the story, and show the audiance that the symbiote has some weakness.

Hey... as long as it ain't some CHinese girl saving SPidey again... I am sure it can be half way decent... (damn that scene makes me vomitt in SM2)

If you watch closely, the girl barley does anything, he actually is the one who puts his second hand down and pulls himself up from there. It looks like she helps a litte, but really, Peter did the hard work.

And as for the burning building scene. WTF? You can't tell anything from that poster. It's just dark Peter showing his black suit. The burning building scene in the second movie was supposed to be similar to the one in the first one. Peter was still able to save the baby, but in number 2, someone got trapped and died because he wasn't spider-man. The point was, if he didn't give up being Spidey and his powers didn't fizzle out, he probably could have saved them too.

I can see them using sound vibrations to show the weakness of the symbiote because we saw the bell tower scene in the trailers. That seems to be what gets it off peter, so I can see them setting this up instead of a weakness to fire.

To me, it looks like he is thinking about going into a burning building to save someone maybe. There's all that orange/red coloring in the background, could be fire or could be the buildings lights. What do you guys think? Burning building or lights from the buildings?

I really don't think so.
I beleive the orange is just to bring out Peter and the symbiote suit

That is an OFFICIAL image. End of discussion. The burning building is simply a theory, nothing more as of yet.

he was just pointing out that the pic in question is not an "offical" shot from the movie. That it is merely a promotional shot compiled by a promotional artist using a shot of Tobey and a background that more then likely is not from the film whatsoever. Ergo, it isnt an "offical" picture from the movie.

Is it an "offical" picture FOR the movie? Yes. But not FROM.
