Actually, for me, it's the opposite. My highschool's interpretation kicked Broadway's ass.

So did the version I was on the running crew for. What pissed me off was a critic who bashed it because it wasn't the spectacle he saw on Broadway, as if a community theater in Kansas would have the $12 million to pull that off. Given what we had, it was, by most opinions, a great show.
