I was actually offended by that. Truely. I think it was unbelievably insensitive of DC.

Countdown is not supposed to be a Horror comic. A demon whose body is made up of the little bodies of dead babies is disgusting and belongs in a Hellraiser flick or something.

I found it very upsetting.

I did not have a problem with any of the violence in 52. Even when Sobek was munching down on poor little Amon Tomaz. Though i'm sure there were those out there who have lost relatives due to crocodile attacks who were quite disturbed.

But seriously. That's comic book violence. Which I personally feel is in a different ball park to demon's who are made from still born babies, who harvest still born souls. There is a distinction there somewhere.
