Things you HATE, Volume II

I hate when I go to the cafeteria at work & one of these two things happens;
I'm on a strict budget and everything that appeals to me would push the limits-OR-I've got money to spend and NOTHING looks appetizing.

I hate that a single stupid mistake (that could have been completely and easily avoided if I had thought about it) has caused me to have to retake the classes I had this quarter, delaying my graduation by three months.

The bright side of this? I get to make up for the mistakes I made this time, and pushing my internship out of the winter into spring/early summer might be more beneficial to my future.

I hate how studios are only releaseing those 3-4 disc Blu-ray combos just so they can charge $30-$40. That's not right or fair, they should give you the option to buy a single or double disc version. If I have upgraded to Blu-ray why in the **** would I want a DVD copy, there's no way to justify it, it's ****ing stupid.

I hate that studios are trying to force Blu-Ray on all of us by stripping DVDs of all bonus features.

I like the Blu Ray/DVD combo packs because I have a TV in my room of the apartment that can only play DVDs, so I get to watch the movie while laying in bed or relaxing on DVD, but if I want to sit and watch it with others in the living room I can put in the Blu Ray.

I used to feel the same, bud. I've just been given a Blu-ray for my birthday so I'm a convert I'm sorry. With the Alien box set just out and news that Star Wars is Bluing it up next year, I just couldn't drag my feet any longer.

You ever want any special features, I can watch them for you and tell you all about them. In high detail. :awesome:

I still hate bonus features.

I enjoy bonus features. I always like to see outtakes and 'behind the scenes' stuff/

Most new releases have both a single/two disc release and a three/four disc release.

Some do but not many, I'm mainly talking about the most recent releases since they are doing it for most of those. I bought Fantasia and it came with an unneeded DVD disc for both films. There was in fact no single or double disc version available.

I hate that I was only able to take my vacation from work on the week when my rent is due. Which means that I can't truly enjoy being from work because I don't have money to do anything.

And on the subject of Blu-ray, I bought a blu-ray player last week; and it seems like other than owning Scott Pilgrim and hopefully getting Avatar soon, there's not really anything thing else I want to watch.

To be honest, I rarely watch them either. But if something has a gag reel. I'm definitely watching it.

I remember back in the day, I always was all about getting the 2-disc special edition DVDs loaded with special features and all that stuff. Then later, I realized that not only were the prices of DVDs increasing, but that the special features were a waste of money. I usually already know the behind the scenes stuff via the internet or I end up watching those special features on YouTube. And when I did have those DVDs with special features, I only watch them once because there's no point in watching it again if I already know what they're discussing.

btw i hate that my phone is broken and that i cannot hang up calls without pulling the battery out, unless the other person hangs up on me

I hate when news channels try to tell people WITHOUT POWER what to do when the power is out.

I hate republican politicians. The irony of all of the people voting them into office this last election because they "want to see things get done" really floors me. Those asshats are the reason things DON'T get done. Is it any surprise that they've decided to not do anything until they make sure the richest Americans get to keep a tax cut?

I need to move to Canada. I can't take idiotic American politics anymore.
