I honestly think some people do it for that reason. They back down far too easily.

Or they argue long enough the driver simply pulls off with them in it still arguing until they get a few stops down the street, which is about where they were going anyway. Seen it done. Annoying, but effective.

I hate a grammar nazi. I also hate it when you have a probelm with someone who thinks it is okay to truly screw you over and no matter what it's always your fault.

Plus I hate that lameass excuse that when you get in argument others want to use the excuse " If you can dish you can take it".

I've always puzzled over the extra "S" in the "Johns" half of "Johns Hopkins". Although I wouldn't say I actively hate it.

It's not so much about being called dumb, it's just when I come on forums like these, I don't like being lectured about about how to use commas etc. If I want to use a comma I would.
