Awesome. Hope it works out for you.
I don't understand, is this storyline finite (Watchmen), finite when you decide it's done (Walking Dead), or serialized (i.e. Batman, Spider-Man comics)?
The main story is somwhat serialized, with about six story arcs already written out and ready to go, as well as a "final chapter" ready to go for when I decide that it's over.
Well, I very rarely make threads for my own benefit anymore, and even less rarely make "personal" threads.
Have you ever been trapped inside your own head? I don't mean physically, cause, well, that's crazy. But I mean that you can't stop thinking about things that you really shouldn't be because it's affecting you in negative ways? No matter what you do to distract yourself, it doesn't work for long. How did you fix this problem?
I know exactly what you mean. I consider myself a typically happy guy, but there are times (sometimes rare, sometimes 24/7) where some thing latches onto my mind and won't go away. Its like a broken record whose speakers are blaring in my ears; I can't turn it off, I can't ignore it; I almost forget where I am, becoming so consumed with the inner struggle of the mind that its like everything that is "real" around me unfocuses and becomes white noise. It will usually happen when I'm trying to sleep or when I'm on my 2 hour commute to work, at times when the mind is idle with nothing to distract it. Its a real *****. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a while back and was given various medications to take whenever something like this happens. Being a creative person, I've come to look at it as being in good company - so many writers and artists, musicians and philosophers suffer(ed) from emotional and mental issues; which it could be argued that they took those negative traits of their psyches and used it for their craft. Thats the only advice I can give you; instead of trying to fight your mind's thoughts, embrace it and use it.Well, I very rarely make threads for my own benefit anymore, and even less rarely make "personal" threads.
