At this point i hear both Deadpool and Agent zero are in the movie. The major scene with deadpool and logan will take place in the forest with logan doing backflip from tree to tree. almost the same as the scene with him and spike in X3.

And just to remind that i was the first one who posted on here about Deadpool.

omg i hope deadpool is in here! as far as gambit at this point i don't care if he's in here or not. i've been wating 8 years to see him in a film and i get the promise he'll be in one and then get's dropped. It would be odd to see him appear in a weapon x movie, especially since it takes place 15 years before x-men, but whatever i'm not gonna complain.

In my opinion, they want to introduce gambit to the general public, so they could do x-men origins : Gambit in the future. May be after Magneto movie.

I don't think Gambit is in it. But you're right, he needs his own film (maybe with Rogue...) but since Joe Carnahan is (maybe) making a JUGGERNAUT movie (http://movies.ign.com/articles/837/837443p1.html) I think a Gambit flick is far off (considering theyre making Wolverine and Magneto are coming first)

Thats why i think it is the main reason that they try to fit him into one of the movies so they could do a proper spin off. Somehow i believe it might not work out after all since it is a wolverine movie and you dont want anyone to steal his limelight. Gambit is such a huge character that you do not want to waste him in X3 or Wolverine movie but we dont know if X4 will ever happen, so They need to put him somewhere.

The only way I could see them putting Gambit in this movie is if on his search for Sabretooth, Wolverine gets a lead about a mutant who has connections in the underground and may know who Sabretooth really is and where he's hiding. This would lead him to new orleans and the mutant would be Gambit. In the comics he gathered the Marauders for Mr. Sinister and I believe he was the first to reveal Sabretooth's real name.

I live in Bondi, Sydney and saw Huge Jackman and Aaron Jeffrey at Bondi Beach many times. Also local celebrities were invited to try out many parts in the movie, so we tend to hear a lot of stories. Other stories i came across such as Agent zero, deadpool i'm afraid i have to keep my mouth shut of how i know.

Hmmm....lots of interesting rumors flying around on this film, lately. Deadpool definitely fits within the Weapon X continuity and it would be a great way to intro the character to a large audience that would probably immediately fall in love with the character if he's done right. I can definitely see Ryan Reynolds in that role. Dane Cook needs to die anyway, but especially if they bring him anywhere near this.

It's one thing to mix up character introductions for the sake of the story and due to time constraints, but I think this is a little much... Gambit's inclusion just for the sake of inclusion, or so it seems... and in Wolverine's past (???) no less.

I think a lot of people care. Just because Singer did it doesn't make it right. They're already taking steps to undo much of what he did with this Wolverine film from the sounds of it. At any rate, just force-fitting in random characters because they think it might be a launching pad for another franchise is something I dislike. Deadpool and Maverick/Agent Zero at least make sense in a Wolverine origin story. Gambit would be completely out of left field and he's a big enough character that wasting him on a cameo or bit part might hurt their chances of making him a bigger featured character down the road.

Fox and the producers know the fans have been wanting Gambit for three films now, so I wouldn't be shocked if they decided to throw him in there to up-the-ante with those who aren't so hyped about a solo Wolverine flick. I really hope this doesn't turn out true though, cause that'd be kinda messed up. Hopefully they save Gambit for a future team film (whenever it happens).

I'm all for Gambit and figure they could find a clever way to add him...however. If there is a Gambit in the XVerse fans will want him with Rogue eventually...if the film takes place 15 years in the future, unless Gambit is like 4 in the movie, that won't work for Gambit/Rogue.
