Thor 2 is currently at 86% fresh.

Where do you think it will end up?

I'm gonna say 78 - 81. It's for sure not going to be worse than the first one so either way, we're in for a good film IMO.

So far the critics aren't blown away but they rate it slightly higher than the first.

Hopefully the final score will reflect this and land in the 80's.

I am going to say above IM3. So around 81, 83%. Not that i matters of course. :D

I wouldn't say slightly they seem to like this alot more than first and even IM3.

I don't see how this could possibly be rated lower than the first film.

Yeah that's a bit drastic. lol

You know, for the first time in a CMB trilogy I think each Thor film is going to be better than the last. Which in all honesty is the way it should be atleast in my opinion.

Well, to be fair, it didn't exactly start with the best of film. This would be amazing if they started with Star Wars, followed it up with The Empire Strikes Back and then somehow topped that. If the third Thor film is killer because the first 2 are lacking, I don't think that is a great thing.

I think it would be an awesome trajectoy.

Good to great to classic.

That would be a first for a trilogy.

The better it actually is, the lower it will probably be rated especially if it takes them out of their comfort zone. I'm thinking around mid 70s hopefully though.

My first instinct was to play it safe and go with mid 70s, but instead I'm gonna go out on a limb and say low to mid 80s.

Ain't like I'm losing money. :woot:

I predict, Somewhere in the 70s, just like most of MCU films.

Tomatometer is a misleading figure regarding the critical consensus as it's just a tally of positive vs negative reviews

I imagine it'll be in the 70's/80's.

It's pretty hard to hate a MCU film, which are generally pretty safe.

However, I imagine the RT average rating / metacritic will be in the 5s/6s as usual.

I think typical marvel 70 something with critics annoyed by clearly open-ended final and so-so villains it can go low 70 thought.

people say 'screw RT' only when it doesn't go their way. However, when it's in the 90's..you better believe people celebrate the rating like there's no tomorrow.

People do take it too seriously. I kept saying that the MoS people were far too upset about it (and far too cheerful when it started high) and I remain that it's RT score doesn't mean much, even though I don't like the movie myself.
