Idk if it's just me put in the middle of this 4 page fold out splash of the source wall it clearly looks like thor, I see iceman, cyclops and mags. I could be reaching but it's uncanny how much they look like marvel charecters. If it's paying homage then that's great!.

It's from godhead 1

Probably more likely that 'Iceman' and 'Cyclops' are mythological figures rather than the Marvel heroes, but that definitely looks like Thor. I'm guessing it was just a little tongue-in-cheek joke that happens to be in line with the Source Wall's lore--that it's made up of the bodies of ancient gods who tried and failed to enter the Source.

Marvel and DC do little joking references to each other's characters all the time. Other examples are a reporter who looked just like Clark Kent in a Thor issue from Walt Simonson's run, and a guy dressed in red and yellow like the Flash who was referred to as a "buried alien" (i.e. Barry Allen) in some Quasar issues back in the '90s.

I see a cyclops, as in a dude with one eye, a guy with a helmet sort of like Magneto's and another dude with a helmet with wings and some kinda hammer. Very vague.

Marvel and DC do this often. You don't know how many times I've seen Clark Kent in the background of the Daily Bugle....:whatever:

Marvel and DC used to do this all the time in the 90's...
