I like both, but Sleeveless is the classic look.

I voted sleeves. I don't know if he needs the sleeves, but they just look awesome.

Although, if he really does [BLACKOUT]get his hand chopped off[/BLACKOUT], maybe he needs to start wearing even more layers of armor!
We saw the clip. It doesn't look like that at all. It looks like a normal kick.

I like seeing him both way since that's how Thor has been dressed in the different iterations of the comics.

Exactly! I thought the metal sleeves look just like he looks now in the comics having the modern suit while the sleeveless scenes in Avengers had this classic costume look.

I can see both versions for certain situations and reasons. While the sleeveless version is more comfy and casual, the covered arms look like a proper protection and armor. If he would go into battle without that protection it would look kinda silly. Like everything is covered and protected very well, but one giants axe blow and he could loose his arm? lol...

I can hear you fangirls boo-ing at me right now cause I prefer less skin to be shown, stay cool I'm one of you. Besides there is another shirtless scene ;)

Pretty much my opinion too.
I'd also like to see his feet-up-beer-in-hand-sport-on-the-telly outfit.

What's that? '_' ... It includes beer, so I guess it has to be awesome.:woot:

One must wonder how the audiences would react if we got a shot with both Chris's (Evans and Hemsworth) being shirtless in the same scene for the next avengers film.haha

Haha. That's not a look. He is not King Leonidas, he doesn't fight shirtless in battle. He has just two looks - sleeved and sleeveless.

Shirtless is a look. It's the best look. If I could pass a law decreeing that all of Marvel's Chrises have to be shirtless all the time, I would. (And then I would pass another law commanding them to cast Chris Pine in some role so that all the hot Chrises would be in the same universe. :awesome:)

I think that is his look from the HellCarrier in the Avengers.

There's 3 - Caped Sleeveless, Sleeved, and Capeless Sleeveless. The last one is the most informal one and the most comfortable one I imagine and this is what we see above.

Damn, I love his arms in that scene :hrt::hrt: Sorry, fangirl moment :oldrazz:

It looks like he has a tumor on his bicep. He's gunning for Popeye. :oldrazz:

I remember someone saying Henry Cavill is bigger than Hemsworth in the News and Specs thread, I strongly disagree.

Cavill is not bigger, he cannot be! Because Hemsworth is taller, he will have larger proportions. But Cavill is definitely more cut, and has a more aesthetic physique. So I would say Cavill has the better physique of the two though both are in super amazing shape.

I prefer sleeved. It looks better for the entire look of Thor.

I prefer sleeveless. It's the way he's looked for the vast majority of his existence in the Marvel U and the need for him to wear mail just makes no sense to me and just seems like a cool aesthetic design.

Sleeveless. More skin. I like skin.

Pics from the Thor Disney broadcast.
NOTE: THIS ISN'T A BOOT LEG VIDEO. THIS WAS BROADCAST ON NATIONAL TELEVISION.

The sleeveless look is f_cking badass. Hemsworth looks like a really bad rowdy mother****er with the sleeveless suit. He should wear that into battle.

sleeved. Thor looks a beast armored. I am waiting for a scene where he lands with full gear, helmet and all, electrical currents running around him, and his eyes pulsing with power. The O-gasm i would have then.

I think most of us have given up on Thor being "helmeted" in the MCU, honestly I prefer MCU Thor without one.

Wait, Disney Broadcast? What was this? When was this? Are we getting this during the Agents of SHIELD premiere, too?

I will never give up on the helmet. To iconic in terms of his appearance in my opinion. As much as I love MCU's Thor's look, as awesome as chris is, the look will never scream "Thor" to me until he wears the helmet.

In fact, the biggest "feel" I got, in terms of "looking like Thor" was that brief 1 second moment before Thor's coronation in the first movie when he raised his hammer and had the helmet on

I'm definitely a fan of Thor's costume upgrade from the Avengers. I don't know why, but the design and even the fabrics used to create his armor from the Avengers came off as being too plastic-like at times.

I remember on how I could easily noticed that parts of his armor that was supposed to be metal-like looked/came off as very plastic in the scene that he had with Loki at the mountain.

And this is just a personal preference of mine, but I didn't like all the silver and blue that was prevalent in his outfit either. I definitely prefer the black and silver/bronze color that he has going on for him right now.

Hos so? He looks exactly as big as he is.

Just saw your post now, he was snapped on set and on holiday shirtless his arms don't look anywhere as big as they do in the trailer. Then again he might be on a pump while they shot the sleeveless and shirtless scenes.

Or he did like most all other actors do like push ups and curls just before shooting scenes.
