On the concerns regarding feats of strength and battles, I would wait until we see a second trailer before getting too bothered about it.
Seriously, I don't remember Spider-Man 2's trailer showing much of the Doc Ock fights, or Spideys big feat of strength in stopping the train, and TIH's first trailers showed us nothing of the Abomination fight.
And as has been noted, the Hammer strike we have seen apparently destroys the entire planet. No mean feat at all.
What the hell is a godpack? Is that Thor's nickname for his junk????

Does this look like Chris Hemsworth to you?

This guy is clearly trolling; don't feed him.
Trolling or not, let's all keep things civil. There's no need for name-calling or making fun of others. If you don't like what someone else is saying, just don't respond to them.
Thegameq, you hit the nail on the head!
I'm not so much concerned about the Avengers movie as I am about Thors own movie. This is the Mighty Thor (I still think that should of been the title of the movie) and he should be the mightiest character we've seen on the screen from Marvel!
Shouldn't they know that and spend the appropriate amount from whatever the budget is? Then again maybe they did because that strike on the ground by Thor is pretty darn impressive!
Me too, I hope Thor's fights have the fluid complexity of Spider-Man 2's fight scenes with the length of The Incredible Hulk's.
Spider-Man vs Doc Ock was the most well choreographed superhero fight scene ever in my opinion. Thor's fights should be like that except on a much larger & destructive scale.

Now Ang Lee's Hulk debut trailer did show us a feat of strength, but unfortunately that one worked against it at the time due to unfinished CGI (the infamous Superbowl 'Tank Toss' that was met with a ton of criticism).

TIH was also a Marvel Studios film.
It destroys the entire planet.......I thought the frost giants realm was a part of Asgard? School me if you will sir........unless I'm correct?
They go on to say:"Thor and the others were on an ice planet, filled with frost giants, where Thor "brought a nuclear blast of lightning to a gun fight," and the collateral damage is what we witnessed happening to his friends. "Thor's made the situation far worse by what he's done to strike back,"
Now I may well have read more into that in thinking the planet gets completely destroyed. Could be that Thor's smash decimates a large chunk of it.Even so that is still a very impressive feat."Leaving behind the self-destructing ice planet, we made our way to two more sets - Odin's Throne Room and Odin's Vault."
Maybe Marvel is hiding the huge and grand sweeping shots, etc. But, the question of Thor's strength level for this film is something I hear alot of amongst friends and family familiar with the character. Kind of hard not to question it......I mean it is Thor after all, we're talking Superman territory here.
In the comics it is. Though from the outside we only really see Asgard's city on the floating Asteroid, the Giants realm is connected to that as well (I just always assumed the other lands were behind the city/mountains the artists drew).
I don't know what they are doing in the movie (Could be Asgard is it's own planet and the Frost Giants have their own for all I know) but in the set visit the scene where Thor does the hammer smash is described like this:
They go on to say:

Exactly, this is "The Mighty Thor", his fight with The Destroyer SHOULD put the Spidey/Doc Ock fights to shame. I wouldn't be so worried if Iron Man's films didn't such "mediocre" fight scenes.
The way Iron Man was portrayed in his films you would think his name was "The Easily Beatable Iron Man". He had barely did any feats of strength at all.

Favreau never lets you forget that this is a heavy duty and lethal piece of weaponry/hardware that these guys are wearing. Even the first set piece where Stark wearing the brief case suit, shoves the Bentley out of harms way with but a kick, you are given a sense of the hardware's power.
I know some, including a few friends, balked at the potrayal of IM's suit as somewhat reminiscent of Robocop, but I think the portrayal was spot on.
