Thor Teaser Trailer: How Was It?

heh keep in mind THIS is just a TEASER Trailer....in other words MORE to come.

The actual trailer is going to come with a guy who bludgeons your skull with a hammer after you watch it.

It's pretty amazing that it's been three days and no 1/10 has been voted. Considering the attitude of most fanboys, there's usually at least one saying it's the biggest piece of **** in the world. I mean that alone is pretty impressive.

The people I've showed the trailer to loved it. Except for the occasional chuckle when they saw a black man and an east Asian man in Asgard.

Gotta wonder where they live. Even places like Germany have black people.

Agreed. It's funny that the film I'm most enthusiastic about is Captain America, then Thor, then Green Lantern when 6 months ago it was flipped.

I have a strong feeling that the Cap trailer may blow these two trailers out the water, though I thought Thor's was pretty good and GL was okay.

Similar here. Cap was at the bottom of my list but now I can't wait to see it. I think I had GL and Thor tied, but GL slipped a bit with the trailer. (I don't hate the trailer though)

The attitude on this subforum has always seemed very relaxed, to the point that I've wondered if there is something in the water. It's like night and day compared to some of the other hero's forums on the Hype.

Actually,my problem is that you pretending not to hate on certain comic book movies coming out isn't working...like at all. I just wish that you'd stick with certain thoughts on them once and for all,I respect you but sometimes it's really hard to. If you weren't so negatively vocal then I wouldn't attack you...as much as I do these days. I'll leave my beef with you at that on this matter once and for all,I promise.

So I can't change my mind on looking forward to films once I see underwhelming footage and trailers? I defended the black guy being cast in Thor because it was stupid of some fanboys to complain about that and I'll do it again. I defended the movie when people judged it based on one bad photo because that was silly. I gave the movie a fair shot but once the crappy looking footage came out any interest I had decreased 75% and after this trailer my interest is pretty much non-existent. As for things like Green Hornet and GhostRider 2, you damn skippy I think that those movies are going to suck sight unseen and I've never pretended otherwise. It's not a sin to change one's mind and I will never apologize for that.

As I say when it comes to almost all movies with bad trailers; my mind could change with, better trailers and tons of good reviews. And changing one's mind is not flip-flopping. Holding steadfest to an opinion/viewpoint is a deeply appalling postion to take in the face of lots of evidence.

I defended the black guy being cast in Thor because it was stupid of some fanboys to complain about that and I'll do it again. I remember when everyone in the Cap casting thread was blowing a blood vessel, doubting the makers, trashing them, arguing with each other.. then I looked at one of these threads and everyone was so chill about this thing getting made. Nobody seemed to mind that we hadn't seen the star's acting skills really flexed in a movie or show before, nobody was worried or infuriated about the lack of Don Blake, *****ing about the tiny details of the costume... it's a pretty amazing feat. Thor fans seem to get it, I guess. That or they're just happy to be getting a Thor movie

Then the pictures were released and everyone went , this film could be really good and now it looks like it could be the best when I originally thought it could be the weakest (Not counting X-men FC in any of this though).

Yeah this is the Hype, but I do hate that people need a picture of the character to be sold on the actor. Like Evans as Rogers or Stone as Gwen. I mean for most fanboys, the actor has to already look like the character. If they don't, it's impossible that they can achieve the character's look.

As for S.A.D.D, I'm over the whole situation. I thought he was kinda cool but he's obviously not so screw it. Life goes on.

It's about being vocal,but like I said,you take it way too far. I love how you claim to not care about what others think when you turn around getting so easily mad at them and go off cussing and giving your side of the story. That's your specialty and problem for seemingly being really hard to please when you are facing comic book movies of characters that you weren't originally a fan of. Yeah,you defended certain aspects,but I wasn't getting into them in the form of an opinion piece and criticism.
