SDCC isn't that far off, and Lone Ranger (july 3rd) is due out where the new trailer is supposed to be attached.

Yeah, it's very logical speculation at the very least. I suppose there are enough other posters here that don't cite their sources while making certain claims, so I shouldn't be so hard on the mann.

I have a feeling that there is not gonna be a new trailer next week.
I am not getting any wind of it, way too early for a new trailer.

Bullying and making fun of a poster's grammar skills (without knowing a single thing about the poster...such as whether or not English is his primary language, his age, his actual education history, etc....) is rude, mean, and uncalled for. Even after one moderator said the same thing to him, he made another comment about the poster's grammar....showing that he would continue to be rude. I will stop it from continuing.

Anyway..so what's the deal guys? Is this trailer rumor a dud, like the one that was suppose to come out prior to the teaser? Or are we still banking on that there is some legitimacy to the claim in the BO forums?

I apologize for this. I was trying to make a Dr. Manhattan joke based on the idea that he used past tense in the future, but I now see that it does look like bullying. I did later take seriously the new poster's claim and responded to it with sincerity, but the damage was already done. I regret my actions and will act more respectfully, especially with newcomers. (I did welcome him/her to the boards in a different thread.)

Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt, jaqua99. I hope you've seen enough of my posts to know that I don't troll.

It's a rumor without a revealed source, but I'm chalking it up to "valid speculation," given that it makes sense timing-wise (many Trailer #1's come out 4 months in advance) and LR is a Disney movie.

Me too, although as bad as I want to see it I'm almost wishing that they won't show him in any trailers. It would be awesome to see a Thor movie with very little previous knowledge, although it will be impossible to keep from watching trailers and reading news.

I know what you mean. But Kurse is such a..unique, looking character, you would assume his on screen appearance will differ from his comic book version. How much so, is what is getting to me, and why I don't want to wait..I'm dying to see him.

BO has a pretty good track record of releasing trailer info for IM3 and first trailer for Thor TDW. plus LR is a Disney movie and everything adds to a new trailer.

Yeah i'm beginning to doubt we get anything. LR opens in a week. A new trailer would have been classified by now

I want the new trailer to do a good job of giving us a sense of what Asgard/the Nine Realms culture is like. With Taylor at the helm I hope we get a real sword and sorcery vibe. That mixed with characters of "god like" power has been my own view of what Thor comics at their best are like. I also want to get a sense of what the populations of these worlds are like, outside of the "nobility". I hope the trailer has some of that.

I am guessing Thor 2 Trailer#1 is the teaser then...
oh well hopefully SDCC has some good stuff
considering Mavel's marketing on past movies, i am guessing a late August or early september trailer release.
Would be surprised if it releases with Wolverine
