Sequels Thread for VILLANS in Spider-Man 4 and 5 (Don't make any more!)

I would much rather see either Scorpion or Mysterio than Vulture.

Electro would be awesome too if they give him his powers to control metal by ionizing it.

Spidey4 - Lizard and Vulture - have Doc conners study of the symbiote lead to him making a scientific breakthrough on bonding reptile dna with human dna. Not to have the symbiote involved in transformation, just to have a way that makes it seem more plausible that a college lecturer who knows Spidey suddenly has this big scientific breakthrough. Most interesting thing about lizard is that only spidey knows who he is, so have the cops, army etc all after Liz, so spidey has to fight and protect him at the same time.
Basically have the vulture in as he was in comics, just a guy with a flying outfit who is a thief, start off movie with spidey after him/fighting him , then Lizard plot kicks in and vulture returns for revenge while spidey is preoccupied with him(maybe spidey ruined his suit at start of movie, he takes time to repair and come back). really want a flying villan to go up against spidey as it will be cinematically great against the web slinging(must have scene where Vulture takes spidey way up into the clouds and drops him), Lizard covers his climbing/agility powers.

Spidey 5 - have not thought about this one really, but maybe bring in Scorpion, original origin so we can get J.J.J involved in main plot more, tricky not have his fights like Doc Ock, but Scorpion has super strength too. Maybe bring in Carnage too, symbiote from Doc conners gets loose, could be done really scary, take full advnatge of symbiote villan this time.

but I still like Mysterio only if Bruce Cambell plays him. I mean these films have already been Raimified as it is... why deviate now?

So they don't turn to crap even faster maybe? I never understood why people wanted Bruce Campbell as Mysterio? Dont get me wrong I like him as much as the next guy, but you definitly know he would cheese up the role to another level.

Electro would end up being another villain audiences could care less about. I mean they tried to make people care about Sandman with the lame ass back story and we know how that turned out.

Well with Electro, what we have is an out and out villain. Which is something that definately wasnt the case with Sandman. It's obvious we were supposed to feel sympathy for him almost from the get go (insert the sick kid, and wife here). Which in turn, made him appear not as threatening as he could have been evoked as ("I dont wanna hurt you. Leave now!"). But with Stay Puft Sandman running around at the end, it kinda fell flat. Electro, thankfully, isnt a character that's been portrayed as being conflicted like Sandman. Which obviously in turn, lends itself the opportunity for Electro to be a definate, and visually interesting, villain for a Spidey sequel.

Really? Well, I thinkwe have a better chance of seeing Vulture in S-M5 instead of Scorpion or Mysterio. However, I really could be wrong.

I think it would be sweet to have Rhino in at least one, if only for a brief opening fight. And i would love to see shocker transfered to the big screen.

Chameleon, Mysterio, Vulture?... These three are ones as well, in my opinion.

More visual or threatening than Electro? Not in my opinion.

We've seen Chameleon's ability used ad nauseum by Mystique in the X-Men movies...Mysterio is a normal man who uses props, and Vulture, whom i agree is quite lethal (although modern writers seem a little perplexed by him), really can't threaten the entire city the way Electro can. Max could bring NYC to it's knees, stopping it cold with a flick of his fingertips. Imagine what would happen to the economy if New York was ground to a halt?

I definitely think Electro is the way to go for SM5.

Also, I like Carnage in 5 as the main bad guy instead of Electro but he might be too violent for this Spider-man world.

4: Lizard started and done in the first 30, Kraven the Hunter is the main villain and sets up the final fight but then kills himself (but not really), Vulture is throughout and the final fight.

Norman Osborn is the "twist" at the end, recruits Kraven for Sinister Six.

5: Venom comes back and kills Gwen, Electro in the middle of the movie.

Osborn comes back from "amnesia" publicly and is secretly leading scientist Octavius, Vulture with recruited muscle Sandman, Kraven, and Electro.

6: Sinister Six led by Norman Osborn, with Doc Ock, Sandman, Kraven, Vulture, and Electro. Spidey has to take on all six at once at the end of the movie.

Spiderman4===== Vulture& Elektro (Conner helps Spidey to defeat Electro....and in the end there will be a Cliffhanger where he changes into the Lizard)

Spiderman5=====Lizard and Kraven.


Spiderman6=====If the 4&5th Movie are successful the Chances are very good we will see the Sinister Six.

Dude, the thing about Chameleon though, is that he's a spy. For half the film, we may not even know who he is if they get it right, and don't give us obvious answers, like raising his eyebrow when the camera is pointed in his direction. I have faith that they can get this character right most of all, and also, he could be a great way to introduce Kraven.

I like what you say about Electro. And it is nothing more than truth. I find him of great power.

I can't imagine they would do one based off the crap we got in SM3. I imagine they would base it off Classic Eddie Brock, and re-introduce him in SM4 leading to a spinoff.

I'm just saying.... not that I agree with this, but I wouldn't be surprise either. After SM3 and huge acclain from Iron-Man & TDK.... imo, they may be feeling the pressure.

However I really don't see most of the villain many of you are naming for Spider-Man 4. If we are talking "Back-2-Back that is.

I know this will sound ridiculous, but in my wishful thinking I want them to forget SP3 ever happened and make SM 4+5 a symbiote story with Venom in the 4th and Carnage coming in the 5th and having an epic battle in the end between the three.

But I know that can't happen and not everyone would want that, so if I had to choose the villains for 4+5 i'd say..

4: Lizard + Kraven
5: Electro

I do see the Lizard being in SM4. But I do NOT see them being stupid enough to put anything that has to do with symbiotes in the 4th or 5th film. Sony will want something totally different from their most successful but not so critically acclaimed third film.

I heavily doubt that alien symbiotes will return for SM4 & SM5. The meat and potatoes of symbiotes is done (Venom saga) and it'll probarbly end with the Venom movie. I do see Lizard in SM4, and possibly Kraven, maybe the Walrus. As for SM5, who knows.

That could very well be.... in some form or another. I sincerely hope not.

Well of course... if it turn out to be a stand-alone film. However if Back-2-Back, I see Connors' Arc playing out over two films and being the central focus or theme(as well as Peter's Journey to Discovery) of the films. With that said... I see Connors' experiments, transformation, and mental aganst playing out in the episode4 with cliffhanger and Lizard in episode5. Which btw, make room for another to be the main villain in 4 while Peter deals with his personal Journey and concern for Connors.

LOL... well I thought the same thing before SM3. I've learn, redundancy runs rampant with what Sony precieve works. Yes we know Sam wanted nothing to do with Venom, but didn't have the balls to say NO. Yet he left the door open with Connors' Symbiote sample. He could have easily shut the door closed forever... he didn't.

Whether you like the Symbiotes or not, they are hugely popular and would be a huge draw for those that wish to make barrels of money. Given they are "stupid enough" to strongly concider a "Symbiote Spin-off".... what makes you think, with all of their redundancy(case in point, MJ's kidnapping, sympathetic villain, themes, villain ties to Peter, etc) they want bring back the Symbiote, paving the way for its "Spin-off"

You follow what I'm saying. I've learn the hard way. It wouldn't surprise me one bit... but hey, we're just speculating at this point; but time will tell.
