What if they compromise by building up the character's friendship with Peter in 4 and have the Lizard in 5? That's of course assuming the films are back-to-back.

Is there really that much about Venom..? I mean, is he really a good character in the comics..? I honestly ask because I'm more into the old, old Spider-Man stuff--never got to read Venom's........um, stories..

I think it's about time for the Lizard. I actually got a chance to speak to Dylan Baker before Spiderman 3 came out and he's ready to become the Lizard and kick Spideys butt. As for another villian, I'd love to see Electro or Rhino, or some sort of intro into the Sinister Six.

Scorpion/Blackcat:

Have Blackcat be a regular catburglar,then she steals the Goblin formula and takes it.She develops a split personality.When she is good she is the Blackcat helping spidey fight crime,but when her other personality surfaces she becomes one of spidey's new enemies.

Have her become a female version of the Scorpion.This is a way to give us a female villain,to make Blackcat have some substance,and it would make Scorpion be more interesting.

If they wanted to go that route they could always just substitute Tombstone for Kingpin like in the cartoon.

I disagree... Tombstone is obviously good in that role in the cartoon, but not in a live action film. He's best suited as a side villain as part of the overall plan in a live action film.

It HAS to be Lizard!
Cause with lizard as one of the villains, we don't need MJ as the damsel in distress at the end of movie. Why? Because the lizard would't be able to kidnap someone, to plan something like that in order to get Spidey where he wants him to be. Lizard is a ruthless animal, no brain, just strenght.

And that's the point why they need a second villain. Kraven fits perfectly. He hunts and captures the lizard. He has a big cage with the knocked out lizard in it, ready for transfer to Kravens homeplace - wherever that may be, he's Russian but he doesn't necesserily have to live there. He's at the Grand Central Station, where the final fight could take place. Spidey has to save the Lizard, not MJ.

At the very end of the movie - as a cliffhanger - we see Kraven visiting someone. He's badly wounded and asks his brother for help. He dies. Now the brother seeks revenge

I'm up for Lizard and Electro, definitely never want to see Kraven. Never liked the character, never will.

A lot of people are worried about Lizard getting skipped over again, but I wouldn't necessarily mind it. Maybe, in the films, Dr. Connors is better suited as a constant friend/mentor to Peter rather than another villain.

I definitely want Electro, but I'd be happy with Vulture as well. For some reason, after playing Web of Shadows this week, I've really come to like Vulture.
