I don't know about Kraven and Lizard. I would like to see the two in the same film but they already did that plot in the SM3 game. How else will they make those two work? I don't see it working unless they do Kraven hunting Lizard. But it's so obvious and it's been done.

You work in the plot and framework of Kraven's Last Hunt thats how. Kraven was barely involved in the story in the SM3 game.

I can get behind all the choices except Carnage & Hobgoblin. I think those ships have sailed.

I hate to bring up TDK in a Spidey thread again, I really do, BUT, if there is one thing TDK proved, its that a non-sympathetic villain can work, superbly, if done right. I personally hope to see The Lizard and Scorpion in the next movie, so I may be hoping for a bit much, but I hope one of them come accross as completely, utterly evil as, though I like SM3, Sandman being Uncle Ben's killer sickened me.

I don't see Lizard being portrayed as a complete *****e.

The Lizard can never be viewed as anything but sympathetic. As reptilian monstrous as he may become over the course of the flick, the audience still knows this is one of Peter's mentors and friends, and having them fight would just add more drama to it. Bringing in Mac Gargan as Scorpion would work, because a lot of Spider-Man's villains are sympathetic in some respect, because there is always some story where you see a whole different side to them, aka a flashback to abuse, or some weird moral code they have, or they were treated badly, etc.

I just realized if they have the scorpion, Spiderman will have to wise crack! Scorpoin has self esteem issues or whatever and hates to be called names.

He wisecracks in every movie. He just doesn't do it in the constant barrage that many hard-core comics fans would like.

'Hey kiddo, Let mum and dad talk for a bit'?

Whats he even saying? Is he gonna make GG his ******? Or is spiderman the feminine one?

They should get some genuinely funny people to write in spiderman's lines. Get leno, or letterman... Spidey should sound like a new yorker. but nah, there are tonnes of comedians who could come up with some good one liners for different situations.

Considering that Gobby drugged him and took him to a dark place...What do you think?

Well i was referring to The Scorpion being the unsympathetic one, it would be just nice for a change as they took it WAY too far in Spiderman 3 with Sandman IMO.

But he didnt insult any of the villains

"It's you who's out, Gobby; out of your mind."
"Look at little Goblin, Jr. You gonna cry?"
And although Bonesaw wasn't a villain, he was still an adversary:
"That's a cute outfit; did your husband give it to you?"

Where the hell is VENOM and GREEN GOBLIN?!? :hehe:

I believe the appropriate term is, um...

Keep Jay Leno the hell away from Spider-Man 4, thanks.

Hrm, I heard of it once and that's about it. I stick to Supernatural myself, lol.

I always loved Vampires in Movies! But idk about this, I don't think Raimi is trying to make a hint that he will introduce Morbius, but who knows? I like the idea though.

The thing is, though, Morbius is the type of villain that would fit the "Raimi Villain Mold": a scientist who's experiment goes awry, and then he becomes a misunderstood villian who isn't really bad per se.
