Maybe he'll be the one that finishes the 20-0 streak?

JR tweeted that we should find out who was behind Nash tonight.

I just hope we get a promo segment between Punk and Nash, that would be gold.

:funny:

i really dont get the appeal of del rio or understand why he has received such a great push - is he big in mexico? thats the only reason i can think of, i just dont get it

me neither.

especially so soon........

He was big in Mexico as Dos Caras...I love the guy, everything about him screams champion IMO....plus its nice to see a minority get a decent push

I'm gonna guess that at Night of Champions we'll see a triple threat with Del Rio, Cena, and Punk.

HHH is rumoured to be wrestling at night of champions.

Del Rio just reminds me of a poor man's JBL. I'd LOVE it if Punk dropped a few Pipebombs on Nash tonight... Even though Nash could probably hold his own, it would be GREAT to witness.

Nash's background in the business would be ripe for Punk to pick at; it's a pity Raw is only 2 hours long. The question is, will Punk broach the Scott Hall/X-Pac/your best friends have all tried to kill themselves with drugs issue?

Eeeeesh, that would be so good that it could be scary.

Speaking of Nash and whatnot...

I have spoken with several people today and while most have NO idea what's going on with Kevin and said that he was never around the other boys this weekend, there were a couple of things that seemed interesting.

Kevin Nash worked the "Gathering of the Juggalos" even in Illinois over the weekend. He got in on late Friday night and wrestled a match with Sean Waltman (Scott Hall was there as well being taped for an upcoming E:60 feature on ESPN) against Kip and BG James. He was scheduled for another indy shot in Wisconsin with Kip and BG, but had pulled out a couple of days prior to the event. He told a couple of the boys at the Gathering that it had something to do with a new movie he got casted in and told others that his neck was acting up. He left Illinois at 4 in the morning to head back to Memphis for an early afternoon flight. Most assume he knew at that point that he was headed to California for SummerSlam.

One person I spoke with this morning told me that the new WWE '12 game features "Kevin Nash", not "Diesel", and that's more than likely the main reason the commentators announced him by his real name last night on the pay per view, rather than saying "Diesel". It's also a big part of why they are bringing Kevin back now as they gear up to promote the game hard and heavy.

No one knows anything about Kevin's contract situation at this point and whether or not he's signed a new deal separate from the "Legends" contract he signed back around the Rumble.

As far as the direction they will be going with Nash's interference from last night, one source told me that the writers were not told anything last night. However, one writer said today that Alberto Del Rio is apparently "not" the one behind Nash attacking CM Punk as a way for him to cash in the MITB contract and win the WWE Championship. It's no surprise that Vince, Hunter and Stephanie are keeping this thing very quiet.

I imagine that Nash is back for more reasons than to promote WWE '12.

And here's something you don't see every day. A ref getting suspended for breaking the wellness policy.

The following is from WWE.com:

Referee Mike Chioda suspended

In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended referee Mike Chioda for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.

There's a lot of potential with Nash and Punk, that's for sure. Punk versus the Klique... that's something I want to see.

I wonder if the reason they're not using him as Diesel is because they want to play up the "real life" angle, that is, the relationship between him and Unstoppable H.

I was thinking they called him Nash instead of Diesel because calling him Diesel (which, I'm sure Punk will do, mockingly) would be goofy. I mean, him coming into the Rumble as Diesel was neat and all for a one night thing... but... it would be stupid now, lol.

I suppose that's fair.

Now I need to think up a Nash nickname to go along with Super Cena, Ultimate Orton, and Unstoppable H. Maybe Nefarious Nash...

I think in due time, we'll be coming up with a nickname for CM Punk.

Punk vs the Kliq...maybe HBK could come back as a mouthpiece for awhile, X-Pac shows up every now and then.

Too bad about Scott Hall though.

I've liked Alberto since Mexico,I was pissed that WWE took him out of the mask&Dos Caras JR character and put him in as Mexican JBL and after that I ended up cool with it..Until they started f**king up his push,But well I'm still a fan of at least his ring work!!!

Can't wait for a Nash/Trips&Punk promo!
