Joe when in good shape comes across as a monster and that's something the company is short on, IMO: good monsters.

I hate to break it to you, but Joe has never had a good physical look ever! I'm not saying he cannot go in the ring, but his look has always been one of a soft fatty. He's in worse shape now.

Another fault he has against him is he not the size of a Umaga or Haku, and those were guys who actually had some muscle on them as well. Joe is just soft.

He doesn't even have the mosnter look

It would be nice to have a good monster back. Someone that just scares everybody.

Most of the time he is either a jobber or a comedy act.

When I said in good shape, I meant smaller than he is now. I've seen Joe since he started early in ROH. What makes him amazing is the fact that he can move the way he does despite his body type. That's somewhat of a spectacle right there.

It's impressive yes, but at the same time it's just not enough in WWE's or TNA's eyes, nor do I believe it would be enough in the eyes of casuals.

I like Joe, I enjoy his work, but at the same time I can see it from a non-hardcore's perspective and Joe with his current look is not going to get over.

I'll use this analogy: MMA and current UFC fighter Roy Nelson is a legit badass, no question about it However, he still fights a battle of acceptance among fans because of his image. He was smart in how he marketed himself because he totally played up the fat man image and always joked and talked about wanting Whoppers. When he's winning, that gimmick works well because people think he's funny and is the avergae American Joe who can fight happens to have a mullet. The second he loses he suddenly becomes a fat guy who needs to get in better shape. Heck even when he was winning people still had a hard time taking him seriously because of his weight. If Roy would have tried to market himself as a badass who is just here to fight and win, it never would have worked.

Fedor, the Greatest HW of all time and arguably the GOAT MMA fighter period, fought with issues about his appearance all the time.

It's the same with Joe. His appearance means a lot, and the wrestlin business is an even more aesthetic business.

Looking at the Summerslam card it's a bit short on matches and highly dependent on Cena vs Punk to draw.

I know Miz vs Rey unfortunately had to be dropped but they seemed to be building...

JoMo vs R Truth
Riley vs Ziggler
Bryan vs Barrett
Zeke vs Cody

Yet none of these are on the card.

Also from the SD taping's:

They did Del Rio vs Bryan? I mean not only is it more diminishment of the brand split but why not put that match on the Summerslam card? Just have Del Rio show up on SD talking about destiny and Bryan comes out and challenges him to a battle of the MITB winners at Summerlsam, easy.

That great movement is quite common of Samoan wrestlers, it's one aspect that has always made them stand out, they seem to defy the laws of physics lol.

If Joe went to WWE and Triple H pushed to use vignettes to introduce him and introduce him as the wrestler/character he was in ROH, I think it might work. I thought he signed a new TNA deal though? was it just a years extension?

Is Samoa Joe still friends with the White Darren Young? If he is, maybe he puts is a good word for Joe.

I'd like to see Brotus Clay get a push rather than trying to be convinced Mark Henry is scary. They won't put a title on the guy so it kills all the suspense.

Is it me of does Summerslam not seem built up enough.

He did. I'm not sure how long it was though. And I must repeat, he re-signed a deal with TNA because WWE had no interest in him at all.

If Mark Henry gets a world title, it'll be due to his years of service in the WWE.

They came up together in one of WWE's trainging promotions, UPW.

So Joe has an endorsement from Steve Austin and is friends with Cena, Punk, and Bryan among others.

I could see Joe joining the WWE.

After he put Big Show out of commission I thought he might get his chance but they'll probably use him to get Sheamus over more.

whatever happened to Jigglypuff.....I mean Husky Harris?

No, it isn't.

For a PPV that they are trying to push as their 2nd biggest event of the year, behind Wrestlemania, it hardly feels like there is a PPV this Sunday.

Also, why did Rey Mysterio v. Miz get scrapped?

Also, lol @ "The white Darren Young"

I think Mysterio is injured. He's been playing up the injury angle on house shows.
