Now, I have never tried this, so I don't know how the process plays out. If it ****s you to death, I am, of course, 100% legally clear of all blame.

Best to just do a fresh install of windows and re-download everything. If your SSD doesn't match the size of your old HDD then you're gonna run into issues with partitions. Nothing beats a clean install!
