It will be nigh impossible to A) make this a faithful adaptation (yeah, right) without immediately looking stupid and B) selling something that's been basically dead for 20 years save for 30 somethings and t-shirts from Hot Topic. I wish them the best, but I think when I saw the Transformers trailer my first thought was, "I know they're going to go for Thundercats, but they shouldn't."

Did anybody see that fan-made Thundercats trailer a while back? It was REALLY lame. If anyone has a link, I'd love to see it again.

That said, I hope someone has phoned Ving Rames and told him to hit the gym in preperation for playing Panthro he's the only man for the job IMO.

This is a topic that has received numerous threads in the past. I hope they really do make this movie...it would be great!

Years ago I was bored and casted my version of a Thundertcats movie (just the Thundercats though). My choices are based on wanting a very diverse cast of actors to portray the variety of cats in the Thundercats universe.

As with every movie nowadays...make it a trilogy. The second movie could feature Lynx-o, Pumyra and Ben-gali.

The cast that I chose (at the time) could work for such a huge ensemble cast. Be realistic!! They can't all be 'A' list actors!!

Anyway, here are my cast:

I mean, TMNT didn't do that well. Not every show that we watched in the 80's needs a brand new movie.

Thundercats really doesn't hold up very well years later.

TMNT didn't even have the theme song. It should've.

And don't cast movie stars in voice acting roles which they clearly do not belong.

Chris Evans as Casey Jones, Sarah Michelle Gellar as April O'Neill, and Zhang Ziyi as Karai = ridiculousness.

Well, the new movie isn't live action. CG animated. IF it happens. So think about actors to VOICE the Cats rather than play them for real.

Just get all the VA's that are still around to return as their characters.
