Anyone who says Vin Diesel for anything already deserves to die...

You may or may not have seen this but Dark Horizons (a movie news site) announced way back in February (26th) of 2003 that a Thundercats movie and He-Man movie are in development...

Here

I just read it myself and dunno if there has been any follow ups about it but I just thought I'd pass that little tid-bit on...

Also, what about the guy from that new Tarzan TV show, Travis Fimmel... I haven't seen it so I dunno about his acting but from the adverts he looks alright for the part of Lion-O... he's young, good physique for the part, not already a big movie star so you could get him on the cheap but it would give it a recognizable young star...

If he wasn't one of the worst actors ever to have disgraced the WB, he'd be alright. He does have the look.

worse... the guy has absolutely no expression. you can't tell when he's supposed to be happy or sad...

I'd go see a Thundercat movie for sure. I'd like to see what they'd do with the SilverHawks as well. The Visionaries too!

Silverhawks is pretty cool, though not as cool as T'Cats. Never saw Visionaires...

Thundercats is on DVD?

You mean one you (or a friend or something) made yourself or one sold in shops?

I wasn't aware it was on DVD, so if it is, awesome, I'll have to look out for it.

really cool stuff

It's a shame my parents don't like doing credit card stuff over the net or whatever, otherwise I'd be there in a flash looking to see if there are others.... :(

There is a yahoo group that have some Thundercats eps to download. I haven't been on it myself yet, because there is a cap on the bandwith so it's been full up both times I've tried, so I don't know what it's like... But you can find the site here

You can download the opening video sequence from here. It's near the bottom.

There's several themes including TMNT, Rainbow and Inspector Gadget... and several videos including the opening sequences to Thundercats, Flintstones and Transformers.

You all seem VERY interested in owning the series...

i also have the WHOLE (130 eposides including the movies)
on cd-r's in formats that will play in Windows Media Player..

Email me and let me know if you are interested...I am charging a VERY low price.... considering what i paid for these,
quality is 7.5 to 8/10 on all episodes.

This is how it would work:

You'd email me and let me know if you are interested......
I will burn the disc's... you send me the cash, when i get the cash
i will mail you the discs the nextday....
if you wish for overnight or any SPECIAL shipping you must include the money for that with the cash for the set. Otherwise they will go out regular mail...

You all have good ideas ...

but take a look at this list:

Lion-O - Paul Walker

Cheetara - Charlize Theron

Tygra - Matthew McConaughey

Panthro - Wesley Snipes

and for Mumm-Ra ...

Tim Curry

Yeah I like Tim Curry for Mumm-Ra and Paul Walker for Lion-O. But Ving Rhames definately would have to be Panthro... He's so perfect for that part. I can see Matthew McConaughey as Tygra, especially considering Tygra, Panthro and Cheetara should be older than Lion-O.

For Cheetara, I would say Tea Leoni or Amy Jo Johnson...

How 'bout Bill Nighy for Mumm-Ra? He already looked exactly like the part in Underworld...
