It doesn't take an amoeba to work out that Judge Dredd was a terrible film.

However, the comic had some amazing characters and idea's, and would be a joy to see on screen. The futuristic view with it's depressing notions and suchlike, as well as some awesome villains.

Who would you want to play Dredd and what story and villains would you liek to see....

I think a face off, with Dredd and death would be awesome!!

I happen to have liked the crappy, movie..i like Stallone sue me.Who could actually play Dredd? i can't actually think of anybody to fit the movie..

Somebody with a big presence, a slightly younger Mikcey Rourke would have worked I think.

I thought the old Judge Dredd film was alright, but i dont think any new films should be made.

There needs to be a new film that actually does justice to the character and the comics and erase the stench of the Stallone film.

Problem with a Dredd film is that you will always have RoboCop oveshadowing it.

Every thread has 'butler for "x"' in it, lol. It's like people want him to be the new ron perlman.....

Robocop hasn't had a good film since the first one came out and that was in 1987. The others were forgetable flops. If a Dredd film has a problem, that sure ain't it.

The fact that there are two lame RoboCop sequels does nothing to alter the fact that the original 1987 movie is a classic heavily based on Dredd. Early RoboCop costume designs had to be altered because he looked too much like Dredd.

The Incredibles were heavily based on The Fantastic Four. That didn't stop the FF films from being successful.

Financially successful. I think most people would agree that The Incredibles is the better movie.

I happen to like the old Dredd film. But i'd be up for a new one.

the 1995 movie sucked it wasn't true to the comic hopefully they make it faithful to the comics because judge dredd is in europe what spiderman is here especially in britain but the creators are doing the movie themselves and not trusting it to a studio like before and they just put out anything not try to put out a great movie.

I'm gonna go against the grain as well and say that I very much enjoyed the Stallone movie. The action was great, the effects, production and costume design were stunning, and and liked Armand Assante as the villain. I know, everyone's like, "Dredd's not suppose to show his face, blah blah blah", but I ultimately found the film quite enjoyable.

Dredd is such an amazing character and his world is just as great as the title character sometimes you have to go throough a story twice to get the sly jokes in the stories for example in the total war graphic novel they identify a perp whos address is 31/32 Jay-lo bottom.

I like the production design of the 1995 movie. Although it's hardly original and looks like your typical post-Blade Runner dystopia, it's still very cool visually, the costumes especially.
