I think the ABC Warrior, the Mean Machine and Dredd helmet were designed and partly sculpted by then unknown and now legendary music video director Chris Cunningham (Aka Chris Halls).

I think you're right there - if you go to Google images and type in 'mean machine angel 200ad' there are a couple of kick -ass photos of Mean Machine:-

When you click on them, it's tries to take you to

but the link doesnt work.

Doesnt suprise me though, Cunningham's involvement. The guys a genius at that kinda thing (the 'all is full of love' Bjork video being a standout)
