TMNT Generation/MMPR Generation

Oh man, I was born in 87, so I had the transition of growing up on both. I was totally obsessed with both, which became obsession for Batman and X-men and then Spider-man. Hell, my Spidey obession still dwarfs all of those combined. Good **** man. Good ****.

ladies and gentlemen, I give you...

the real season 2 of Power Rangers

SOmeone fill me in...who are these rangers and why are there more than one red and white one?? And why do they look like they are dancing??

I was nutso for TMNT, but I really like MMPR and watched it til about the middle of Turbo when Tommy left.

I was born in '85.

TMNT: The Movie was my first theatre experience at the tender age of 5. I had all the toys and all the videos. But since I was so young...

MMPR came along at just the right time, when I was about 8 I guess.

I don't remember when I stopped watching Turtles, but I stopped watching the Rangers about halfway through Zeo. At that point, I was still buying figures (the Gold Ranger was my last one).

CAPTAIN POWER FTMFW!!!!!!!!1111!!!!
That show was the best

New Turtles is pretty crap from what I hear, think rt.com gave it a really bad rating.

You mean the movie? Nah, man. The movie is awesome! Don't trust the critics on this one. Heck, I think critics also hated the 1990 live action adaptation!

MMPR SUCKS!!! I hated that show since the first time i saw it on tv. I love TMNT. Anyway i dont think that MMPR is big enough to qualify as a generation. It wasn´t that succesful was it?

MMPR is arguably the best generation of power rangers there have ever been. It was so good that 14 years later we still get power rangers, although, there no where near as good or as exciting as they once were.

who are these rangers
the rangers from the 1993 Japanese series Gosei Sentai Dairanger

and why are there more than one red and white one??
it's a manip

And why do they look like they are dancing??
they were friends... it's not meant to look like they were dancing. The White Ranger is an orphan, and is a friend of the pink ranger... the Red Ranger then became buddies with him.

You should see it regardless of what the critics say. Don't let some screwball on a movie review site keep you seeing the movie just because they gave it a crappy rating.

Power Rangers is still on the air cause its a way for Disney to make some easy money through toy sales. Had Fox never sold PR to Mickey Mouse, the show would have been cancelled like 5 yrs ago.

Agreed, dude! :)

I guess this would explain why the Lion Thunderzord was more green than black.

:D

thanks for clearing that up...now the next question, is why did the American rangers change Zords, but not into these costumes??? THey don't seem to have a big trouble with costume changes now...

I grew up with both of these. TMNT was awesome. I had all the figures. I also loved MMPR until Turbo came along and ruined it with that bastard kid, Jim Bob or whatever that little ****s name was.

VR Troopers 4 eva:heart:

the owner of Bandai at the time didn't believe that the American watchers would understand the sudden change in the costumes, so that's why they kept it the same.

Even though they changed everything else...actors included!
