Your choice of words. I do expect you would be more intelligent than actually saying it so specifically.

There's a "problem with the scene" and you continue to describe in very broad strokes as to why it's offensive on a factual level.
But again, this is my personal interpretation of your writing about your personal opinion.
On another level, I can argue just as readily that it doesn't harm the outlook of professional women at all. In my experience, career women are thought of as cold b**ches who care about nothing except for the work. They have no hobbies or personalities. They're just there for the kill, and think that hobnobbing and joking around (which is predominant in many male-heavy fields) is an utter waste of time and beneath them. So, to show a woman in a male-heavy field joking around is a breathe of fresh air, and shows that a woman CAN make it in a male-heavy job and still have her humanity.
