Has anyone thought that maybe the mo-cap guys are American military? Maybe like a science police type of thing. Hell, I still think Metallo could show up.

That guy could be Shannon, but it's not exactly a definitive picture.

You're right it's not a definitive picture by any means, I am just speculating. Although it's quite likely that it is him, based on the jawline alone.

As far as the Mo-Cap suits are concerned, I'm hoping that Snyder has a surprise in store for us. Like the villains are not only Zod and Faora. I'm hoping that's he brought some sort of small army to the Earth or something along those lines. Can't wait to find out though.

Probably nothing more than kryptonian goons.

I cant imagine they'll be wearing CGI-suits the entire time, so I imagine it might be some armor that "retracts" or transforms.
Pure speculation though...

I'm saying the guy highlighted here is the same. Dunno why they zoomed the guy on the left. I'm saying there are 3 in mo-caps and the highlighted guy is Shannon. Compare it to the single shot, same clothes.

it's probably Zod and his minions.....

I'm guessing this occurs later in the film. they track Kal-El's ship to the Kent farm and show up there to ask for directions to IHOP.......

Looks like security is high in Plano filming this week and the main street is closed off. Will be very hard to get pictures of filming.

The guy who took the above pictures (Ed Larom) said on Facebook he went into Plano today and couldn't get past security. Oh well, perhaps there will be some luck this week of filming.

Zod's visit to Smallville looks to involve a lot of wreckage- the truck smashing into the Kent house, reports of a train derailing and running through Sears, the 7-11 gets blown up and now it looks like a plane is brought down.

There were rumours that there would be a military confrontation and that does look like a military jet part. There are reports of plane parts on set but no confirmations yet.

You never know what Chicago will involve. It might involve a huge fight too.

This old article talks about why Chicago beat out Alberta for location shooting:
