It does look way better than the official pic. I do see a black line on the widow's peak area but it's hard to tell. I hope it's the curl.

I agree. If it wasn't for your previous post I wouldn't have learned the content of those extra scenes. Yeah, Im a bit of a collection freak when it comes to Superman films. :oldrazz:

Me too actually. I couldn't resist the bluray set. Even superman 4 looks better.

Check it out dude.

Mr singer don't be so hard on yourself.

;)

Heh...I actually commend Singer for at least having the creative responsibility to make that decision, instead of including it just because it was expensive and cool-looking.

Hmmm...its is funny how the facebook page is always referencing Latino Review and how they write good stuff...I guess Jamie is right and the facebook page is ran by some insiders. They just did it again right now, for the second time with the same article. Seems suspicious to me.

Thanks for the heads up. Gonna check it out.

It's not run by anyone affiliated with WB. The admins have used to harsh/coarse language in a few posts...I don't think anyone associated with WB would use bad language while communicating with the public

They already posted the same article yesterday. There was no need to post it again today.

I wouldn't be so sure. Have you seen copout?

Lol

Isn't this a covo for the returns thread?

You're right. Sorry.

Subject-wise, sure it could have been a nice addition. But pacing-wise and placement, no...it needed to go..for the sake of the film as a whole. If it could have been used a different way, it could have stayed...but it, and the rest of the film, weren't really made to have it used a different way without rewrites or reshoots....way after shooting had ended and deep into editing. So it had to go. It happens.

But SR's problem wasn't with what was cut out of the film...it was with what was IN the film, and couldn't be helped with what was cut out. Slow, sullen story and mood...the kid....lack of action/fighting....it needed another story altogether, not those extra scenes.

Thanks for the link.

This was just weird to me. The same article posted twice on the page. it didnt happen before.

Michael Shannon?

Definitely looks like Shannon. He's a skrull from The Avengers.

also the only reason they mention Latino Review is because Latino Review mentioned them...

"Thanks to photographer, Greg Zonsius, the unofficial Facebook page for Superman's next theatrical outing, 'Man of Steel' has gotten their hands on the first photo of someone in costume as Superman on the Planos, Illinois set. It's a shot of the back of the guy's head, so there's no telling if it's star of the film, Henry Cavill or someone standing in as the Kryptonian hero. It might seem silly to get really excited about a photo of a character's back, but it's not so much what this photos shows -- it's what it will lead to."

I hear that we will get another view of the suit a more revealing shot, soon but (???)

The thing that i find it curious is that they already posted the same article today and now they posted it again and it wasnt updated at all. I feel they are connected somehow.

Stunt-double? Or Non/Jax-Ur?
