I get them through a sales rep with Pepsi. Well, actually, my dad gets them through a sales rep with Pepsi. If you know anyone in the grocerie store business that is fairly higher up that is one way to get them since sales people are always trying to get their business and have little perks here and there. Last year for TDKR they needed my information with email and the info and email for whomever I was taking to prevent tickets from being sold.
give them my email :wow:

:woot: the Mall of Georgia might be a bit of a hike for you, and these Walmart screenings sound exactly like the prescreenings that I get from Pepsi. If my contact doesn't come thru before May 18th, I will make the dreaded trip to Wally World to buy my tix. (Not a fan of Walmart, but I can put that sabre down for Man of Steel :oldrazz:)

I hate Walmart with a stubborn passion. lol Why have Eleventy-hundred registers if you're only going to open 2?! Argh... But I'll be front and center come May 18th. :woot:

There is one thing the CGI people have missed. Since the cape is added digitally, the lightning is off. Look at the sides, the suit is relfecting a light source, which should not be possible since the cape is blocking the light.

So how does this Wal Mart thing work? Are they selling tickets for a screening at a local theater? Have they done this before? I've never heard of such a thing.

Nicely done! Looking forward to the pics.

Here are some photos and a video of the Man of Steel trailer on my 1080p projector (Epson 8100) displayed onto wall - about 130 inches or so.

Ok. Sherlock Holmes, give it a rest will ya. The cape isn't cg in that exact shot (besides, the cape in that shot is hanging in a way that doesn't block his sides. Look more closely. But it's all irelevant) He DOES actually wear a real physical cape in many instances - This being one of them! And if not a real cape in a simple scene like this, then when I ask? So joke's on you...

If any one could name just one freaken reason WHY Snyder would want a cg cape for something like this, then by all means, Try and explain it - if you dare. But be aware, you're about to make a damn fool of your self. Shots of the cape when superman is walking out of the fortress, and as seen when he first takes off. THAT'S a cg cape... but in that shot above, the cape is definitely REAL.

Ps. djprince. I'm not wishing to bash on you, so don't take it so hard as it may seem written. All i'm really saying is this - the cape is NOT cg in the image above. It just isn't. It's scary that sometimes one tends to see something as computer generated, when it's not at all :-)

I find it so damn funny when people start to see things as CG, that are not CG to begin with! Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it. It's an ever losing battle for the companies doing effects for films. They can't win no matter what. Now, real stuff tends to look CG as well!... So funny (actually, it isn't. It's just dumb)

I know whose saying that cape is CG? It's just funny really

In a sense, everything can be somewhat CG-affected now, because of the whole post production process. It can make things which aren't CG as such still look like they are.

Yeah, it's very obviously not CG.

Plus, there are spy pics of them shooting the damn scene... Cape and all. ;)

Sure it can. But again, I stress this matter, and I won't budge about it either. The above picture is NOT cg, nor is it effected by it either. That's just stupid in this situation. Stop seeing things that aren't there.

I'm not seeing anything that isn't there, nor do I deny that Cavill was standing there wearing that cape. But the lighting may well look unnatural because the appearance of the whole frame will have been toyed with to produce that washed out look they are going for. By a computer. Hence "CG". CG is not just a matter of putting unnecessary aliens in Mos Eisley space port. :)

The cape looks just right in that shot... This is silly :-)
