Hey guys, not sure if it has been discussed yet.... But does anyone have a guess as to what Clark is wearing around his neck? It looks almost like a USB stick... or it could be some completely random piece of jewelry. Just wanted to know if anyone had some actual guesses or info. Please PM me or reply if you do thanks!

Every time I see that picture, I think "he makes for a great Wolverine."

That would be funny for Justice League. Green Lantern's ring creates his suit, Superman's suit comes from the necklace, The Flash ejects his suit from his ring, they all run off while Bruce Wayne throws his hands in the air and drives back to the batcave.

Bruce should have a changing system in his Batmobile. Like what Mr. Incredible has at 0:40.

He held a piece of metal that shape with the S shield on the tip in the Comic-Con footage.

In the CC footage, he also sticks the object into something approximately waist level to presumably activate it.

Edit: Going back to look at those scenes again, it's obvious what happens. He goes to the north pole (or whatever) and finds the alien ship. He sticks the key into the alien ship opening the door to the alien ship, going inside. He speaks to Jor-El in whatever hologram form, and asks him a few questions. Then he's shown walking out of the door of the alien ship in full uniform.

He only said it looks like reptilian skin. Both are dumb imo. But I'm sure they will do their best to sell it.

i said that before i got a really good look at the suit texture, and i do agree with you- it does look like chainmail

I'm hoping that Kal-El's suit is technologically based. For god's sake, Superman is Kryptonian. I want the 'alien' and Sci-Fi aspect of Superman explored further.

It's up to the film to sell the history and reasoning behind the suit. How the suit appears to one person can differ to another person. To me I would say that from a close distance the suit does have a fish-like or scaly appearance. Up really close it can resemble chain mail. But if you look back on the old pages, no one really thought it looked like chain mail till the really close pics come out. People were saying he looked like Aquaman, especially if you take away the S. From a long distance he looks like Superman though.

I don't think there is a FOS, I think it's just an alien space ship.

I thought the CC footage showed him walking into the FOS? Granted, we don't know for sure that was the FOS, but you could tell that it was an icy environment, so one could only assume that's what it was.

It very much looks like a spaceship, which is sort of hidden underground or something. The CC footage shows it from a far, then up close of him walking into it in plain clothes, then out of it in the Superman suit.

Could easily be a "realistic" explanation. Kind of odd to have a "fortress" with alien tech. Why not just have an alien ship hidden underground?

Eh... yeah... it's probably just the same thing. The ship and the FOS. Though I do believe the ship is merely the building-block for it, since it's somewhat small.

me too, but only for this episode... I don't want the franchise to be bogged down by being overly focused on krypton. For the origin story, ok. But after, just let it lie as background. if hes always dealing with kryptonian problems, it turns into smallville

Yes, that's what I was saying. It looks like it'll be just an alien ship hidden/buried under the ground/snow/ice. But I don't think they'll ever call it a fortress, and there won't actually be some type of fortress (as we know the FOS to be).

I meant to say *types* of fortresses lol, not times. I hope he at least refers to it as a Fortress though, just so the FOS can be in this trilogy.

Cavill looks amazing just a shame they didn't wax his chest to highlight more definition.
