Krypton's fate confirmed?

for some reason this reminds me of John Byrne

Oh my bad I forgot what part of the boards I was in, I'll be leaving now.

:whatever:

Please do. If you honestly believe three films since 2006 have catapulted the character to those levels of popularity then I don't know what to tell you. Sorry pal, every objective fan knows that Batman and Spiderman are the top dogs in the comic world.

Agreed. Batman and Spider-Man films are one a different echelon than other solo CBMs. Although judging from tonights trailer, all that may be about to change :cwink:

Is it just me, or did Snyder actually read some of these forums? There's two punches, drama, humor, Supes smiling, and the CGI explosions that looked rather fake last time around are a lot more fiery and realistic. Anyway, I was actually offended when he said that movie Superman was "broken", but having seen tiny bits of the "fixed" adaptation, I actually agree. I don't miss that green rock.

I was saying the same thing! I wonder that all the time.Seeing what comes out time after time, it's like he's really giving us what we've always wanted.

For me, it feels like he's stalking my tweets or something! I mean, EVERYTHING I've ever asked for has been delivered. From the cast to the suit to the "real" to the flying, the fighting, etc, etc... It's like winning the lottery!

Then Snyder will be forced to make every DC movie.

It really does look to have a good mix of story, depth, visuals, action and plenty of good clean fun.

"Then Snyder will be forced to make every DC movie." As long as he's fine with it, I am. Just as long as there are such talented writers and producers to back him up.

yup, talented writers are very important.

no more 2 "kids" writers.

Honestly I just want them to make a great superman trilogy, then focus on other DC movies completely separately. I just don't think there is that big of a demand for a JL movie as there is for a great non-batman DC movie.

And I'd want Goyer involved in a WW movie. From the writer of Batman Begins and Man of Steel..

Michael Shannon is edgy and I think it's going to work towards his advantage. Zod is going to be menacing.

I think Nicolas Winding Refn expressed legit interest in wanting to do a Wonder Woman movie, when you have a director as talented as that having REAL interest in a comic book film, it's almost never a good idea to ignore him. Especially since Nolan and WB wants to bankroll the whole thing, why not give him the Syncopy back up and let him go for it.

Goyer was supposed to do a Flash movie, he should do that.

WW needs to happen especially with shows like Vikings and Game of Thrones being so hot right now.

Wonder Woman can be done if you look at LOST (some of the mythic island centric episodes where they take you into the past) as well as Game Of Thrones. Or Lynn Collins in John Carter, even if she's aged out for the role, they should look at that look/performance for inspiration.

They should definitely get a script going for that. Get the Wachowski's to direct a Flash film with Ryan Gosling or Charlie Hunnam. Something like a scaled down Man Of Steel. Have Barry Allen be the one who looks into one of the Kryptonian spaceships left behind, then an accident occurs, giving him super-speed. There's a gif from the trailer showing Superman using that speed and it's perfect for the Flash.

WB needs to greenlight these movies along with a sequel to MOS. Even if all their excitement is on Superman at the moment.

I'm of mixed feelings on this. I would LOVE to see a Justice League movie... but only if it's good. If Man of Steel is a critical and commercial success, then there is an excellent chance that a JL movie will be announced, along with the MOS sequel. BUT if the JL movie isn't good, it could jeopardize future MOS films, even if the sequel comes out before JL. It could sour the public on the character, and that's never a good thing. However, if JL is good, then it becomes DC's version of The Avengers.

So is it worth the risk? I'm not sure. I know that I just want (at least) three good Superman movies. They did it with Batman, and they can do it with the Man of Steel.
