My main problem with it is the amateur execution. I just see no reason why it has to be a still, and a blurry still at that, from the movie.

The blurriness is meant to convey that this particular version of Superman is the fastest one you've ever seen. It's kind of a ****e poster though.

According to the official Man of Steel facebook page for the movie, this is the final poster. I guess the character posters that we heard about either didn't exist, or were thrown out.

No. They just look darker in certain lighting. Some shots in the trailer are like that as well.

Which is a shame. Out of the three they released, the 1st one was by far the best.
This one is better than the 2nd, but still isn't great.

Maybe they'll have a midnight screening poster like they did for The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX, that would be nice. The theatrical posters are the ones that really matter, and all of them were underwhelming.

He sort of reminds me of a lighter skinned Kal Penn in the aforementioned poster; and that's not such a good thing. It's the angle..

Olly is awesome, I didn't really like any of his batman stuff unfortunately, I do have his Thor poster on my wall...and i hated that film

Yeah I agree about TDKR poster not being his best, but the damn screen print quality of it makes up for it. Ill also add I'm now fine if the guy who did this poster does the MoS one.

They are going to sell for a small fortune on Ebay.

Well, the TDKR ones were released less than 2 full days after the 3rd theatrical poster (same with TDK I think). But that was on a Monday and since tomorrow is Friday they may wait until next week. Either way I am not excited for them at this point. The quality of these posters is rubbish so I don't even care anymore. But hopefully I'll be positively surprised once they are released. Not everything can be as meh as the last two posters....I hope.

I honestly see nothing wrong with the poster. What shocks me is that the majority of you guys act shocked as hell when they use a screencap from the trailer for the new poster...I could have called that one a mile away

I guess we were crazy to hope WB would put more than 10 minutes of effort into what is the final one sheet for MOS and not use a still from the trailer when they seemingly have much better photos (WalMart promos have better ones).

shockingly done by WB as well...maybe they are putting all their time and effort into the Wal-Mart promotion, since my friend told me it is going to be huge it wouldn't shock me at all...

No. I like it too. But just like everyone said, could have been better for a final theatrical poster, especially with all the images released for the kids books.

That poster is lazy. It's a snapshot from the last trailer with the city photoshopped in. Between the final posters for The Dark Knight Rises and this, it's clear they're not trying anymore with the posters.

The SR posters were good, the TDK posters were good, the Watchmen posters were good. Now starting with TDKR and MOS, they're just going "whatever"? They couldn't come up with anything? 75 years worth of material at their disposal and this is what they do? Snyder mentioned Jim Lee a few times in interviews. Why didn't it hit them to look at some of Jim Lee's artwork and take some poses from it?

Some of the manips I've seen on here that are great. You would think professionals getting paid to do this could put out better.

^ agree on almost everything. But SR definitely had some truly bad looking posters. More bad than good ones. This new MOS poster is a thing of beauty in comparison.

The new poster is cool enough. Pretty simple though. It's certainly not what I would call an original nor creative looking poster. But it's still cool enough.

Yet, with 6 weeks to go, I don't think this is the last of posters! Actually, I believe this to be a US domestic theatrical poster. I'm putting my money on there being a couple of more coming out. Both character posters and international posters. This ain't just wishful thinking either.

Wow thats quality, Superman's red eyes just take it to another level. I have always had a slight unerving when i see him with glowing eyes, I wonder if evil superman will turn up in this franchise but then again its kinda been done in superman 3 (best bit of the film)
