Most designers suck because they don't even understand what design is. It's not about being creative; it's about presenting information in a logical and concise format.

All of these posters probably resulted in the marketing department wanting something edgy, with a fly-on-the-wall feel. If I was in charge, I would have asked for, at minimum, two concepts:

1. Simple poster with the new Superman shield on granite (the artwork of which we've already seen around).

2. Something with Russel Crowe with Kevin Costner. It doesn't make sense to have these high-caliber actors in your movie and not feature them on a major piece of promotional material.

So, out of curiosity, what would you guys want the poster to look like? What would be the perfect MOS poster?

I'd Like all three of those too. Along with my picks and G's picks.

As long as we get this type of imagery in the movie, I'll be fine. But it is slightly disappointing they can't draw from these for the posters. Oh well, still stoked as ever for the film!!!!

It's a shame the marketing people are content to grab a trailer screenshot, paste it onto a background and pass it off as a poster. Especially when that background is a blurred city that is hard on the eyes. And takes up a large part of the poster.

Yeah, MoS will undoubtedly be the better film, but the posters for Superman Returns are better at this stage.

Come on marketing people, give us something worthwhile with poster 3.

:csad: Well... Henry looks good at least. But yeah...

And What IS With the Yellow (Gold) Being Grey Again??!! W.T.F?!

as i pointed out before and got jumped on, the s looks too silver in some pics! told you all so

Again. I don't know why WB edited the gold out of the shield. But it fits the blue color tone of the whole banner.

This. I personally dig the banner more than the theatrical poster, but my main gripe with this banner and some of the other pictures released of Cavill so far is the inconsistency of the color of the shield.
