And like clockwork, CosmicBookNews is singing the praises and declaring that the MOS2013 page is the Official Page for Man Of Steel. Um..OK.

It's because they are connected on some level. It's amazing if WB/DC decided to go to bat with that site and that Facebook page.

They could have certainly "bought" them out based on an already existing fan base...but that seems completely lazy and shortsighted if that was the case. Especially considering the complete lack of knowledge and understanding of how to conduct themselves on the page. It seems like Pod People are running the page.

That is if they haven't already, but I'm guessing that a regime change will have to happen if they want to keep good buzz going. That's something I don't get. I've followed Supermanhomepage.com for years, and Steve has been a loyal acolyte for the cause for a very long time. You would think they would get him involved, but alas I'm not on the payroll over at DC Entertainment and my opinion means nill until June 2013 where I can speak with my wallet.

I've had my ups and downs with Steve but his site is 10 times more recognized than and well known than that Facebook page.

The thing is, now others that have complained will suddenly love the page because it is "official".

Yeah, I honestly don't post on their site simply because I know that if it doesn't jive with their mods they will remove and block. I'd rather not waste the effort on them, but I imagine if enough people get removed/blocked it will eventually reach the ears of DC. Oh and Show, let me know what they say about why those 3 wonderful sites were overlooked in lieu of the Fauxbook page.

Neither the Facebook page or Twitter page are official. Just spoke with one of WB's reps that liaison with DC and she said some publicist didn't do their due diligence. Just searched for the info and figured they were official. Unfortunately, such is the world of publicity.

Now, this is just my opinion, but it would behoove DC/WB to have Facebook and Twitter swipe both accounts for them.

I'm not racist so PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, but MOST of the people there are foreigners and have a very hard time grasping English and I can only assume that with a name like Beliz, the admin isn't American himself...that page is a EFFIN JOKE!!!

Happens all the time at DC, people just don't catch on to it. Wasn't a WB press release, they're the ones that are uber careful. Remember that they are still two separate entities for all intents and purposes.

EDIT: Yeah WB chippy followed up and said that is not sanctioned WB information. Don't know if they'll look into it any further but she said that this: http://www.dccomics.com/movies/man-of-steel-2013 is not the official movie page
