I thought young clark was going to be taller. lol Well I like that he's not the biggest of his friends. Gives him an underdog kinda feel if that's what they are going for during his teen years. Kinda like secret origins when he was getting picked on... and every other smallville story. But I've always liked that.

I wonder if they are going to go the Smallville route and make her Whitney's gf ( and make Clark pine after her ).

I'd prefer they go the TAS route where Lana is Clark's best friend and confidante, the one he reveals his secret to ( and Lana has a crush on Clark ).

The picture of young Clark looks like a better actor than Welling ever was.

Isn't there supposed to be scene where young Clark saves his classmates from a bus accident involvinng a river scene, if so, the messed up hair would be apporpriate, considering they are all in front of the chair of the man in charge of such scenes, i.e. making hollywood magic.

The kid looks good,and sincere, and happy, considering how Supes has been potrayed in both SupesReturns, and Smallville, a smiling Clark Kent is a welcome relief

While I disagree with your opinions on both Smallville and Superman Returns Clark and them not smiling or being happy(big Smallville fan(Welling,Imo, was one of the better Clark Kents in the past decade) but not that much of a Superman Returns fan but it had good moments) this is not the place for it (that's what PM is for) but I do agree that this actor has potential of being a good teenage Clark Kent.

Personally I don't mind. It's easy to see how he's a character that will be much better dealt with in a sequel. I'd rather have him introduced as somebody new and actually spent a bit of time on in a second film, than have him just be the jokey side character with not much screen time again.

He has the potential to be a bit more involved in the story than that.

So I've been thinking. What characters are they actually including in the film? Pete is in it. Whitney is in it for some reason. WHAT ABOUT LANA? And most importantly, will she be a redhead?

Lana has been confirmed to be in the film (albeit, the teenager version), and the young actress that's playing her is actually brunette.lol
