I left Marvel for what they did to Gwen.
Did me saving $1000.oo to $2000.oo a year on marvel, and them losing that much each year stop them from writing "The Other?"

No matter what we fans do or don't do, say or don't say, Marvel will do whatever they want, whenever they want.

It's their character, they can do whatever the hell they want to do with him.
It's make believe, not real.
most of you people have yet to realize this.

Some fans may not like some stories, some fans do.
Who cares. I don't really anymore, if I find something interesting, I'll give it a chance, if not I won't bother.
I'm only reading Civil War cause it sounds interesting.
I'm not so ga-ga over every little thing that happens or doesnt happen anymore, I grew up, you should too.

and by the way...fans can and do make a difference...there was a HUGE boycott over what they did with Spidey's clone saga incident...you think Marvel planned on killing Ben Reilly? That was due to the fan's outcry.

because it was one of the biggest mistakes Marvel has ever made...Marvel said, by saying Ben Reilly is the real spiderman, that the spiderman you had read about for the previous 5 years was really a clone thus that none of what happened really mattered anymore...i enjoyed those 5 years myself...and that is one of the many reasons why it still pisses me off that they tried to pull that kind of tihs off.

I liked Ben Reilly alot. The clone saga wasn't too bad.

No offense 'ben', but you do seem to have a bit of a "LOOK AT ME!" thing about you. I mean, come on! The amount of threads you make is a bit much. Only person I know who makes more than you is Chris Wallace. Also, like 'Feature' pointed out, a lot for your threads have a similar theme. There really is no need for THAT many threads all on the same topic.
Like this thread for example...this could of easily gone into the thread from which you pulled the quote by 'deemar325' from. The only reason I can see why you made a whole new thread on it, is to get attention. & really, that's quite pathetic.

the fact of the matter is, everybody that starts multiple threads get called on it. If they start a new thread which is really similar to an old one, they're told to do a seach before starting a new thread. So stop whining that you're being singled out because you're not.

And about your opening statement. If everyone that didn't like the way a story is going would stop buying the books you can rest assured that Marvel would fix things. See the dead MJ story for proof.

And if you would just look around, you'd see that most people liked Ben Reilly, it's the fact that they made him the real mccoy that pissed off some people!

Or maybe the lamest thing is that I never claimed to be against Ben Reilly or the Unmasking (although I WAS against Ben Reilly, you know, when it was relevant).
I'm not against your opinions about either of these topics, I was simply pointing out that its often unnessecary to start a new thread everytime you have a new opinion. Believe it or not, I have opinions too, and by doing a simple search, I always find a thread where I can express them without creating mindless content. That is how it should be done, and the fact that you seem unable to do that makes YOU seem like the noob.
I had a good laugh at the idea that I was trying to make a name for myself. It's so true, sometimes I stay up at night worrying that I'm not well known on the SHH Boards and how I can rectify it. I bet if I sit on my computer all day and start ten threads in a row people will begin to recognize me! I hope no one has tried that before... oh wait...

And I'm against your covers thread rather than others because it's meaningless. Themanofbat's covers thread is a COUNTDOWN, and as Jack Skellington most expertly showed, yours is not. It's spam.
