This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]494201[/split]
congratulations to the shadowboxer, for having his thread make it to a part 2
huh what? I was never talking about the avatar there.oh lol. Yeah I know that Mary jane= marijuana but I thought you where talking about the avatar for some reason lol.
considering the traction that the thread's getting, i'd say we're in for a whole lotta parts to tha testamentIt's the new testament to part 1's old testament.![]()
i thought the same at first for a split second. shouldn't it say part 2 instead of part 1?I saw the thread closed.. the first thing that popped into mind was that someone went crazy last night as I was sleep... then i saw it was just the thread manager.t:

they made a less violent version of it, I believe but yeah it was damn hard to watch. i heard someone got a heart attack in the theater. That movie is rough to watch. It's too graphic for me. More power to the people who watch it annually.

Actress Chipo Chung is playing Mary Magdalene. Chung is half Chinese and half Zimbabwean.
Babou Ceesay is playing John. Ceesay is from Gambia.

I suppose it will be easier to overlook the wierd casting if they actually make it historically/biblically accurate. But that still won't make the casting any less random. Other historical films don't havea problem with casting actors of the right race, why is it only bblical films that wind up like this?I'm a bit dubious to some of the casting. (Mary Magdalene is apparently black? and one of the Apostles-John maybe?) It's going to be funny if that doesn't cause the same "outrage" that the "non-accurate" casting of the recent Moses movie had.
Hopefully,it's Biblically accurate in terms of story content at least.
