But Kirsten Dunst will NOT return...

Then while promoting FlyBoys, James Franco said possibly... if Sam's in it... he also said it depends on who the actors are...

... so maybe that's a spoiler that Harry won't die in 3.

Because after the Comic Con press conference, it seems obvious to me that he has lied about his knowledge of the Spider-Man comics to get the role in the first place. Not that I blame him really. What has he lied about? From what I understand, Tobey from the beginning, has stated many times he never read Spider-Man comics as a kid and had no familiarity with him whatsoever.

No it wasn't, but apparently Tobey tried to make it seem like he had more knowledge of the comics than he actually did. And that could possibly be appealing to Raimi. Who knows? I'm not going to sit here and argue about it. If you watch all the videos of the Comic Con press conference, there is a part where Tobey and Raimi joke about the fact that Tobey made it seem as if he knew more about the Spider-Man comics than he actually did.

Thanks, but just because he said he might come back for a sequel doesn't mean that he won't die. Didn't Molina say the same thing back before Spider-Man 2?

Yes, Molina said he would love to return for a future sequel. I think he said he would like to return for SM3 or SM4. Of course he died in SM2, or so we think.
