I'm not accusing you of anything, by the way, I'm talking about what appears to me to have been the subtext of the article that you might have missed.

In those situations, I'd usually argue that a thread shouldn't be closed because of one annoying poster (which happens way too much in the community forums), but in that case threads like that are useless to have open. It's not like you can possibly talk for other side at all without looking like a scumbag, and why would anyone in their right mind talk for the other side in that case.

It's been happening in the community forum a lot lately. Threads being hastily deleted which takes some of fun out of the community. The community's pretty boring compared to 2009, 2010.
