No, he's not, and I'm aware of that quote already.

I just thought that was a pretty sweet quote and wanted to share it with everybody that didn't know it is all. Don't hurt me. >_<

Am I the only one who thinks having the whole family, Mom, Dad, son and daughter, dressed up all as Lokis is cute?

A family of Lokis. Well, sort of. Quite nerdy, which would make it cute.

Looks like Loki will be getting even LONGER hair in the film, haha.

ah! you beat me to it! LOL

Oh, I am WAAAAAAY too excited about an action figure. If he looks half as good as that in Thor 2, OMG. The fangirls are gonna be loosing their freakin' minds. :D

Rock star, wasn't it? :funny: And yeah, it'll be like a Beatles concert when the promotion stuff starts coming.

He's going to be looking like a rock star, for sure. :D ANd it's great that they got his face so close to Tom's, they must of realized where a lot of their Loki figure sales were going to be coming from, and figured they better get it right. LOL ;)

a better look at Loki :) His vambraces look interesting...

Couple more, probably last

YEAH! Go KidLOKI! :)

Or alternately, for the "old school" Loki fans...

See, no dissrespect to Tom, I love his as Loki, he does look the role, but when I think of Loki...THIS picture is what comes to mind, to me, this is THE Loki, the quintessential Loki.

To be honest, when I spontaneously think of Loki, something else entirely comes to mind, but that's since I got the Norse version first, long before I could read and Marvel started to come my way (and even then there was another comics series, the Danish Valhalla, that shaped my view on the looks of these people). He definitely doesn't have horns in those. Nor a spangly outfit. And I grew up with a redhead Thor, BTW. :oldrazz:

The outfit looks a lot like the one he had in Thor, when they went to Jotunheim, aside from those vambraces.

yea agreed, looks like a different head as the hair is longer aswell as the more detailed face

don't mind too much that its the same body with a different paint job,
i like the new colour scheme, the black with green looks really menacing :D

Don't loose faith that we'll see that Loki in a movie. I think the intention is to show how Loki becomes the remorseless, ruthless Loki.

lol you girls just want to see him tied up lol

Me, I'm a different kind of girl. I want to see Loki become aggressively evil because I've always liked the bad guys in movies.

Yes! I'd love to see all that hair put to good use, specifically for this look from the comics (not very practical for hand to hand combat, but it looks oh so cool!):

I don't know how I feel about the pony tail magically appearing through the helmet. LOL :whatever:

Loki gets darker every movie by the time they get to Thor 3 he will look like a Goth :funny:

No magic needed. Just alter the helmet to accommodate very cool ponytail. Like I said, not very practical, as you're providing your opponent with a handy handle, but it looks ... I guess verile is the best word I can think of.

Yeah, I would think after his experience with the Hulk that he'd be smart enough to NOT provide such a long and luxuriant "handle" LOL

Nevertheless, if his action figure is any indication, Loki's hair will be significantly longer this time around, almost as if they have this look in mind.

I will go on the record as saying that we will see Streaming Hair Loki in this movie! :woot: No worries either way. I've eaten crow before. :cwink:

The God of Emo.

You can't be bothered by too much practicality if you're working on your rock star image, Hulk or no Hulk. :word:

Btw, Tom is expected at BAFTA tonight (possibly presenting) so we should get some new pictures of him, and maybe we'll luck out and someone will interview him, and try to get something out of him about Thor 2. ;)

I think of Loki as Marvel's version of the Joker in a way. There's no doubt Loki is crazier than a loon just like the Joker.
