Social media can be a **** hole of a place sometimes, but every so often something likes this comes along which allows everyone to collectively mock and laugh at. It's the most hilarious response I've seen to a trailer in a long time.

It looks....fine. But the worst thing is it looks like a total SNOOZE. But really, how much “better” can the CGI look like? How much “better” can they make these creepy cats look like? If they pushed it forward and made it more detailed, it’ll basically look like an eerily exact CGI version of people in frumpy cat costumes. (Which... I mean. Totally pointless.) I think they did the best they could do with the look of them all using this method instead of real costumes...

Though I don’t understand why people are saying it’ll still break box office records...? Not with this reaction.

I don't think it's bad (high praise I know) but I think the effect is uncanny which is when you get into the creepiness. It's odd. I thought the cats should have been more cartoonish, or more cat like with less human features than the other way around. But it could be one of those things where once you're over how different it is, in its own context it can work.

I'm watching it but those cats look really odd.... I wish they gave them cat mouth/nose. And their ears look too small.

The fact that they are entirely CG is pretty damn impressive. They do look like people in costumes.

didnt they film actors on set and added the cgi body and fur on the live action face? i doubt the face is 100% cgi

If they had added cat prosthetics on their faces to be more catlike I don't think it would look nearly as creepy. I whipped up this concept and I think it looks way more acceptable.

It is to me. There are far too many shots and moves that draw attention to the groin area. And it freaks me out.

Cats with boobs would be a starting place.
