I guess the closest he got to doing a musical was this one scene in Sucker Punch.Maybe Zack Snyder will direct a musical as well! Joseph and his Amazing Sepiacolour Dreamcoat.![]()
The Phantom of the Opera didn't really have that crappy of a life. Sure half his face looks horrible, but he gets to live in the basement of an opera house and he doesn't pay rent or utilities. That's a win.All musicals are about characters with crappy lives.

CGICan someone tell me if this is CGI or Makeup? Beacuse if it is CGI it is amazing work.
As for the trailer. Production Design and Cinematography are stunning, but it all feels just too weird.
A perfect contender for How Did This Get Made if I’ve ever seen one.
It's not rocket science. It's a popular celebrated broadway musical. The director has had success with Broadway musicals in the past.
I know the podcast. I don't think it's worthy of an episode. Not like say The 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves.I'm aware, I was referring to a podcast.
The furry community may like this, but I don't see much appeal unless you're a musical geek.
Haha didn’t they give a first time director something like $100 million to make 47 Ronin, and he ended up getting canned?
At least we got a great Martin laugh from their reaction to this trailer.I was listening to a reaction to this trailer, it may have been Double Toasted, and one of the speakers said this freakshow goes way beyond "Uncanny Valley". Its the "Uncanny Trench".
