Tom Welling is Conner Kent in LOSH (well sort of)

In the Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon they are making a clone of Superman (Kon-El/Conner Kent) and the first look at the hero looks an awful like Tom Welling.

Yea they will have 2 Superman's this season one looks like it is suppose to be Conner Kent.

How is it Conner Kent? I thought Kon-El was some clone of Luthor and Superman in the present.

This clone is supposedly from the 41st century and cloned for combat and tactics only.

The purpose of Kon-El was no different then the one here only that it is cloned in the 41st century then the 21. But IMO I look at it more as Conner because the outfit looks alot like Young Justice Superboy outfit as well as he was the only clone of Superman to come out normal.

Its possible. This is what we know so far:

"A clone of Superman from 41st century is coming to the 31st century to get help to Imperiex, a "techno barbarian". The Legion will also teach him how to be a hero since "the clone of steel was raised in a test tube an bred to fight--but not much else".

Sounds like a completely new character, we'll see.

The real Superman is supposed to return in Season 2 as an adult now as well.

Did he go back to 2006 in the s1 finale?

Yeah for the finale he went back home to SV and I am not saying this clone is Conner Kent but he sounds just like Conner Kent with his background and all.

But the Superman from The Batman from the clip I posted.... looks more like the exaggerated proportions of the Timm artwork fused with the facial likeness of a different live action Superman;

They look way too different to be exact clones; that Conner Kent theory may have been right.

I told you they have drawn Superman to look more like a mix between Timm style and Routh for both (The Batman and Legion S2) and Superboy aka Conner Kent (as I like to think of him) like Welling.

Well for Legion of Superheroes; he was based on Routh in season one (mixed with the teenage Clark from the film); notice how he wore glasses as a teenager in Kansas too.

Now that Superman is an adult; they mixed that previous form with the Timm style; it actually looks better than the original Timm Superman IMO. Timm Superman's face looked like a pelican in JLU; too exaggerated.

Aside from the slightly exaggerated chins in these drawings its not bad.

I think I believe you about them using Welling as a basis for the long haired Superman on the right.

Theyre supposed to be clones but the cloned Superman has different eyebrows, different nose/norstil shape, bigger lips, more defined jawline and different ears than the original Superman. Obviously each based on two different actors now.

Theres definately a Welling connection though its strange to see Two Supermen based off Brandon and Tom fighting side by side :/
