Yeah, I have. And it's more or less just her starting out being kind of the wealthy young chick with no idea what to do until she grows into it. It's still not all that fleshed out to me yet.

This is what Hollywood does. They hire the worst hacks ever to write and direct female led genre films and when the films are bad and bomb they use it as a ******** teaching moment that female led genre films can't succeed.

Marti is good when she wants to be good. She's one of those writers. But she's better than this dude.

The dude wrote the Killing Season? The worst movie I've ever seen. i've laughed so hard when the movie starts off in this Russian/Siberian prison camp, and up comes John Travolta as one of the prisoners with his awful accent. Great comedy!

Those movies still need to be good, just like a comic book movie needs to be good. Not to mention it is a female lead movie which gives it even more pressure since if it fails, HW blames it on being a female lead movie.

Dude, as long as it's a cool adventure movie with some nice action scenes, that's all you need. How fun this movie turns out , will depend more on the director.

Of course if the script is absolute trash, then nothing can save it. If it's an okay script, the director can work with it. Let's see whom they get as the director and Lara croft before putting a fork in it.

Sucker Punch was cool. As for Tomb Raider just follow the most recent game and it'll be awesome. Have Lara as a junior fortune hunter with a family legacy and have her against the wild as a strong willed character. Bada bing Bada boom
