Yeah, I'm not a fan of the rebooted game (Well, I like the game itself, just not the rebooted Lara) and I'm not much looking forward to what will surely be a Hunger Games-lite version of Lara on the big screen.

I wouldn't mind Lily Collins as young Lara either.

If she impressed producers enough in the same capacity as Jane Levy for the Mia role in Evil Dead. I say she must have been impressive also. She must possess great range.

But hearing her dad's cockney accent over the years might pay off lol

i do like Kaya Scodelario for lara croft i loved her in skins and she has a very grittier darker look to her

Now that is an interesting choice.
There's the way to get me to see any future Tomb Raider movie.
Anne is a very, very good actress but her English accents are wishy washy. I thought her accent in Becoming Jane was fine but it wasn't very good in One Day. Then again One Day wasn't a very good movie.

They will reboot it Tomb Raider 1 like or like last game kind of reboot ? That's two very different Lara Croft.

It's apparently based on her younger years. So I guess that means the reboot game.

it is obviously gonna be based off new lara old lara is a bit too provocative to take serious with her huge boobs and tiny shorts lol

new lara has a more serious grittiness to her and a bit more grounded

well look at them 1 is obviously very comic booky while the other kinda fits a more modern serious take

I'm an old fart, I prefer the old Lara and I don't find Lara V1 comic booky at all.
Yeah, she is the female version of Green Arrow from "Arrow".

But it'd be Kaya Scodelario all scarred bruised and dirty :p

I don't play videogames much anymore because everything is a shooter so I have no idea how the new Tomb Raider game turned out IMHO but regardless if the game never existed I always thought that they should reboot the film series.

I'm not a sexist hollywood man so I'm not hung up on Lara being 21 but I don't want any links to those horrible Jolie mug fests from 2001 and 2003. I guess if Lara is starting out the cut off age should be 30 with the actress being able to play at least four years younger than her age. I know some will think 30 is too old but I don't think so if the actress looks younger and is a good actress. I'm not against casting an 18 year old if she looks the role.
