I knew Punk wasn't going to show up. Yeah, Wrestlemania is going to suck now...

You guys remember when WWF was at its peak of popularity and Vince McMahon would end Raw episodes standing over a beaten and broken Stone Cold Steve Austin?

You don't?

****.

It's a cool visual , but there needs to be a damn payoff.

So Punk is really gone. ..... I hate you, Bootista

The one thing that segment does that's hopeful: It sets up Bryan vs Triple H, and then Bryan entering the main-event if it happens.

Maybe they were testing the crowd reaction to all three of them in the ring. That part definitely got some of the biggest pops of the entire match.

I'm really gonna miss Punk. Man this sucks :(

I know he's a professional and it would never happen, but I'd love to see Bryan start shooting in the match and just legit beat the **** out of Triple H :O

the only way Punk would come back is if the Main Event is made into a Fatal Four way including him and Daniel for this year's Mania.

if they wanted that, they should have had Punk return tonight and get involved at the end.

Yeah but I feel like it's been weeks of hoping. Are we kidding ourselves or is there a glimmer of hope. Batista was an obvious heel tonight . That gives me some hope

I'm thinking someone lied to Meltzer intentionally so that people could get their hopes up and tune it.

Same thought. Meltzer was worked. Curious to see if it does make a serious difference in the ratings.

What the hell was even the point in swerving everyone at the start with Heyman coming out to CM Punk's music and talking about him? This isn't entertainment, this is just a big FU to the fans to do something like that. You tease the fans and it comes back to bite you in the ass.

I'm honestly surprised at the overall reactions here - I'm as bummed as everyone else about Punk not showing up, but that final segment delivered as best as it possibly could given the circumstances.

Bryan finally snapped & got physical with HHH, HHH is full-blown heel and not straddling the line between heel/face through company speak, and they're finally letting Batista be the best version of his character. The oddest thing of all though, is how the UNIFIED CHAMP is an afterthought on nearly every show. And it will continue to be that way until Daniel Bryan gets the title unfortunately... sucks that Orton, who is very good at what he does, is getting screwed by crappy booking in all of this.

I wonder if Hogan will make the stip for Bryan vs Triple H next week, as I can't think of what else his announcement could be.

I don't see why they would feel the need to do so. Anyone with common sense within the WWE would know that no one gives a crap about the Title Match as it stands now and that everyone wants Daniel Bryan to be included.

I really feel bad for Daniel Bryan.

The guy, along with us the fans, have been screwed for consecutively for the past several months.

Whenever we think we're just about to catch a break, something happens that throws a wrench to our dreams.

For every step forward that Daniel is able to make, Triple H throws him back 10 steps backwards.

I have NEVER seen a wrestler, who was THIS OVER, be held back like this on purpose on a wrestling show before. Honestly, Triple H, Vince, and Stephanie are the ones coming off as the *******s that they have always been and will most likely always be from all of this.

They KNOW that Daniel Bryan is what people want, but since Daniel doesn't fit their standards and how they want to admit it, along with the fact that they promised to give the spotlight to less deserving stars, they do everything that they can to ensure that Daniel isn't given a chance to claim the spotlight.

I mean right now, the company should be focusing on creating new stars.

Instead, they keep doing the "WCW" thing by forcing fans to accept old and outdated stars who have no business being where they are now for the most part.

The only wrestlers that are seemingly being pushed forward are the members of the SHIELD and Bray Wyatt.

With that said, I'm so happy I'm not give WWE my money for the Network anytime soon. :D

Given the multiple months of Bryan getting his ass handed to him by Triple H and company, along with the fact and how much protection triple H is given...I don't think anyone cares to see the ending of tonight's show.

Same downer ending with Bryan on the mat and the Authority standing over him. I am glad Bryan finally got the kick in, but his promo needed to dig into HHH it didn't. There's too much protecting of HHH's image and he needs to be torn down some.

I wonder if Hogan will make the stip for Bryan vs Triple H next week, as I can't think of what else his announcement could be.

Can the guest host put the COO in a match at Wrestlemania?

Hogan is serving in the same capacity the Rock did at Wrestlemania 28.

Well it's wrestling, so yes. :D It's the only way I see the match getting booked as I don't see Triple H just accepting as he's too busy protecting his character.

Holy crap guys some reports are saying Punk showed up right after Raw went off the air!!!!!!
