I haven't really seen any movies that "wowed" me yet this year. Out of what I've seen, Star Trek Into Darkness was pretty good and World War Z was better than I'd been led to believe. Elysium and Man of Steel were pretty good but could have been better. Iron Man 3 and Pacific Rim were both "meh" to me.

You know, I did not love Prince Avalanche. I respect what it tried to do and I thought everyone brought their A-game. In fact, it did accomplish what it was trying to do, but like Green's Snow Angels, there is just something so dreary and distant about the material.
